Best of the 'B' Sides is a compilation of B-sides by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 4 November 2002 as part of the Eddie's Archive box set. Each track was remastered and the set came with a running commentary from Rod Smallwood. It covers all of their singles from their first to 2000's "Out of the Silent Planet", although several of the band's original B-sides were excluded from the collection: "Total Eclipse", "Mission From 'Arry" ; "Bayswater Ain't a Bad Place to Be" ; and "I Live My Way". Also missing are the band's cover of Thin Lizzy's "Massacre" and a number of live B-sides.

The Complete Columbia Recordings of Miles Davis with John Coltrane is a box set featuring jazz musicians Miles Davis and John Coltrane. It is the first box set in a series of eight from Columbia/Legacy compiling Davis's work for Columbia Records, and includes never-before-released alternate takes, omissions of other musicians, musician comments, false starts and a first version of compositions, some of which have made it to the 50th Anniversary 2-disc CD version of Kind of Blue. Originally issued on April 11, 2000 in a limited-edition metal slipcase, it was reissued in 2004 in an oversized book format. In conjunction with Sony, Mosaic Records released the 9 LP set.
Mark of the Beast is an album released by American heavy metal band Manilla Road in 2002. Around half of the album was originally recorded in 1981, and was intended to be the band's second album. The results were judged unsatisfactory by the band and so was scrapped in favor of writing the album Metal. With half of the scrapped songs existing for 20 years as a bootleg called Dreams of Eschaton, Monster Records cleaned up the master tapes and released the project under the name Mark of the Beast with additional unreleased early tracks. The cover is taken from a drawing by Jim Fitzpatrick.
