You Am I are an Australian power pop band, fronted by its lead singer-songwriter and guitarist, Tim Rogers. They formed in December 1989 and are the first Australian band to have released three successive albums that have each debuted at the number-one position on the ARIA Albums Chart: Hi Fi Way, Hourly, Daily and #4 Record. Nine of their tracks appeared on the related ARIA Singles Chart top 50 with "What I Don't Know 'bout You", their highest charting, at No. 28. You Am I have received ten ARIA Music Awards from thirty-one nominations. The band have supported international artists such as the Who, the Rolling Stones, Sonic Youth and Oasis.

They have released three extended plays, Morning Sun (2002), Goodtimes (2002), and The Weight of the World (2004), plus five studio albums, Learn Yourself (2003), We're Already Gone (2005), Ziggurats (2007), Spooks (2010), and Dancehall Days (2014). The last four albums have all peaked into the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Spooks and Dancehall Days also debuted at No. 1 on the Australian Independent Chart and No. 7&5 on the American Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, respectively. Their single "I Thought About You" reached No. 60 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
"Beautiful Son" is a song by American alternative rock band Hole, co-written by frontwoman Courtney Love, lead guitarist Eric Erlandson, and drummer Patty Schemel. The song was released as the band's fourth single in April 1993 on the European label City Slang. To coincide with the song's lyrics, Love used a photograph of her husband, Kurt Cobain, at age 7 as the single's artwork.
#4 Record or You Am I's #4 Album is the fourth studio album by Australian rock band, You Am I, which was released in April 1998. It reached No. 1 on the ARIA albums chart. It was the group's third consecutive album to debut at No. 1, a then-record by an Australian band. Its third single "Heavy Heart", is one of their well known songs and has been covered by different artists, Paul Kelly, Ben Lee, Lisa Mitchell, TZU, Courtney Barnett, and the Supersuckers.
In the Army Now is the seventeenth studio album by the English rock band Status Quo, released on 29 August 1986 by Vertigo Records. Recorded at Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire and Jacobs Studios in Surrey, it was the first album with the post-Live Aid lineup, featuring bassist Rhino Edwards and drummer Jeff Rich, both of whom joined in March 1986.

He had previously been a member of the Bamboos (1986–87) and Kryptonics (1987–88). He established a record label, Reverberation, in 2003 with his former Kryptonics bandmate, Ian Underwood.
Wednesday was a pop vocal group from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. They scored a hit single on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1974 with their cover of the song "Last Kiss", which peaked at #34. That same year, they were nominated for the Canadian Juno Award for Most Promising Group. The single reached #2 in Canada and #1 on the Canadian Billboard 100. A follow-up single, a remake of "Teen Angel", was their final chart single in America. The parent album, entitled Last Kiss, was released on Ampex Records in Canada, Sussex Records in the U.S., and A&M Records throughout the rest of the world.
The Luxury of Hysteria is the fourth studio album by the front man for Australian rock band You Am I, Tim Rogers, and his first to be credited solely to his name, although his backing band, The Temperance Union, did play on most tracks. The album was released on the 29 September 2007. The only single from the album, "When Yer Sad", was released to radio and TV. Rogers actually created his own record label, Ruby Q, specifically to release this album, so he could remain free from any creative control issues.

"Turpentine" is a song by the American alternative rock band Hole. It was written by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson. The song was one of the band's first compositions and remained unreleased for seven years before being released on the band's second EP, The First Session on August 26, 1997. Although not as well known as Hole's later songs, "Turpentine" is a notable song for the band as it is often cited as "the first Hole song."
Dilettantes is the eighth studio album by the Australian rock band You Am I, released on 13 September 2008. It was recorded at Electric Avenue Studios in Sydney and Sing Sing South in Melbourne before being mixed at Studios 301 in Sydney. The first single, "Erasmus", was premiered on Triple J radio on Dools & Linda's show on 6 August, and was released on iTunes along with the album's title track as a downloadable single on 6 September. Video clips were released in November for "Beau Geste" and "Givin' Up And Gettin Fat" to be released as radio/iTunes singles.
The Cream & the Crock is a music video album by the Australian rock band You Am I issued on DVD on 10 November 2003. It peaked at No. 14 on the ARIA Top 40 DVD chart. It compiles 19 of their official music videos for tracks from their first studio album, Sound as Ever up to their sixth, Deliverance. It also has live performances, TV appearances, interviews, commentaries on the music videos and a specially-made documentary. It was released as a partner to the band's CD best-of compilation double album, The Cream & the Crock.
