Drew Mehringer (born December 10, 1987) is an American football coach and former player.
After the 2006 NCAA football season, Mehringer switched from a quarterback to a student assistant role at Rice. He earned his degree and left Rice to become a graduate assistant at Iowa State. He moved to Ohio State to serve in the same role in 2012.[ citation needed ]
He left the FBS in 2014, becoming the offensive coordinator at James Madison.
Prior to taking the job at Texas, Mehringer was the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Rutgers University and wide receivers coach at University of Houston. [1] [2]
On December 12, 2016, Mehringer officially joined the staff at the University of Texas as wide receiver coach and passing game coordinator. [3]
On December 1, 2019, Mehringer was let go from his position with Texas and was soon hired by Florida Atlantic to be their co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach. [4] [5] After initially being shifted to the tight ends coach, Mehringer left Florida Atlantic to accept the quarterbacks coach position at New Mexico. [6]
On December 30, 2021, it was reported that new Oregon head coach Dan Lanning was seeking to add Mehringer to his inaugural staff, [7] and then a few hours later, it was reported that he would indeed be joining the Oregon staff. [8]
A native of Mansfield, Texas, Mehringer attended Rice as a quarterback before suffering a career-ending injury. He then served as a student assistant with the quarterbacks under Herman for three seasons (at both Rice and Iowa State), graduating from Rice in 2010 with a degree in political science. Mehringer earned a master's degree in sports management at Ohio State in 2013.
Greg Davis is a former American college football coach. He served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team until announcing his retirement on January 6, 2017 . He served as offensive coordinator for the 2005 national champion Texas Longhorns, where he was awarded the Broyles Award for the nation's top assistant coach for the 2005 season.

Ben McDaniels is an American football coach who is the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the quarterbacks coach for the University of Michigan and also previously serving as the interim wide receivers coach in late 2018. McDaniels previously served as the wide receivers coach for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team before being promoted to offensive coordinator after Ralph Friedgen decided to step down as OC after the season. McDaniels served as quarterback assistant with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League in 2010. He played collegiately as a quarterback at Kent State from 2000 to 2001.
Tim Beck is an American football coach and former player. He is the head coach for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. Prior to joining Coastal Carolina, he was the offensive coordinator at North Carolina State University, a position he had held since 2020.
