Droga (Polish for 'road') was a monthly magazine dedicated to literary and social topics. [1] It was published in Nazi-occupied Warsaw from December 1943 to April 1944. Its founders were Ewa Pohoska and Juliusz Garztecki.

Yass (jass) is a Polish music style of avant-garde jazz which originated in the late 1980s, that mixes jazz, improvised music, punk rock, and folk. The style began with Avant-Garde Jazz musicians from the Tricity and Bydgoszcz, where the Jazz club Mózg became the unofficial 'home venue' for Yass performers, with its own label releasing a number of Yass productions.

Dziennik Związkowy (Polish Daily News)

Dziennik Związkowy or Polish Daily News, is the largest and the oldest Polish language newspaper in the United States. Established in 1908 in Chicago as an organ of the Polish National Alliance from whose headquarters at Polonia Triangle in Chicago's Polish Downtown the paper was originally printed. Considered the leading voice of Chicago's Polonia, Dziennik Związkowy has been published without break from its founding in 1908 until the present day, making it the oldest Polish language newspaper in the world published without interruption. Jan Krawiec was editor-in-chief from the early 1960s until 1985.

Witold Zalewski

Witold Zalewski is a Polish writer, publicist and prosaist. During the Occupation of Poland he was a soldier of Armia Krajowa and participated in Warsaw Uprising. Zalewski was associated with conspiratory magazine Dźwigary, editorial board member of weekly magazine Pokolenie (1946–1947), publicist of Przegląd Kulturalny (1952–1963), publicist of Kultura (1963–1970).

The Kashubian Association is a Poland-based association for Kashubians with the aim of developing the national, civic and cultural awareness of Kashubians from around the world. In particular, it is calling for recognizing the Kashubian as an ethnic minority in Poland: in the current Polish law on minorities the only right the Kashubians enjoy is the status of their language as regional.

Witzchoura Type of cloak

A witzchoura was a type of mantle, pelisse, or sleeved cloak, with a large collar and, sometimes, a hood, that was particularly fashionable in the early 19th century. The term derives from the Polish word wilczura, meaning 'wolf fur coat'. It was inspired by Polish styles, hence sometimes being described as a la Polonaise, although it is not the same as the gown called a polonaise. Like the original hussar's pelisse, it was typically lined with fur.
