The Drâslea (also: Drislea) is a right tributary of the river Jijia in Romania. [1] [2] It flows into the Jijia near Trușești. Its length is 22 km (14 mi) and its basin size is 94 km2 (36 sq mi). [2]
The Jijia is a river in Ukraine and the Moldavia region of Romania. It rises in Ukraine at an altitude of 410 metres, flows south in Botoșani County through the town of Dorohoi and meets the Prut in Gorban, Iași County. It has a length of 287 km (178 mi), of which 275 km in Romania, and a drainage area of about 5,770 km2 (2,230 sq mi), of which 5,757 km2 (2,223 sq mi) in Romania. Major tributaries are the rivers Sitna, Miletin and Bahlui.
The Bahlui is the largest river of Iași County, in eastern Romania. It is a right tributary of the river Jijia. Its name is derived from Cuman and it means "muddy river". The Bahlui has a length of 119 km and a catchment area of 1967 km². The average discharge is about 2.8 m³/s.
The Ghimbășel is a left tributary of the river Bârsa in Romania. Its source is in the northern part of the Bucegi Mountains. Originally it discharged directly into the Olt, but much of its flow has been diverted into the Bârsa, another tributary of the Olt, near Colonia Bod. Its length is 67 km (42 mi) and its basin size is 533 km2 (206 sq mi). The former lower course of the Ghimbășel, downstream of this diversion, still exists and is used for the discharge of local inflows. It flows into the Olt north of Bod. Its length is 6 km (3.7 mi) and its basin size is 8 km2 (3.1 sq mi).
The Miletin is a right tributary of the river Jijia in Romania. It discharges into the Jijia near Vlădeni. It flows through the villages Cristești, Coșula, Copălău, Chițoveni, Prăjeni, Miletin, Plugari, Șipote and Vlădeni. Its length is 90 km (56 mi) and its basin size is 675 km2 (261 sq mi).
