Duarte Ferreira (born 1 November 1992 in Lisbon, Portugal [ citation needed ]) is a Portuguese-born Angolan racing driver, residing in Luanda.
He began his career in karting in Belgium. He then progressed to Formula Renault 1.6 Belgium. In 2010 he competed in Formula Three Sudamericana Lights and finished 3rd in the championship, capturing 5 class wins and 3 overall podium finishes in the series' three races at Velopark. In 2011 he raced in Firestone Indy Lights with the Bryan Herta Autosport team. [1] Ferreira finished eighth in points with a best finish of third on the oval at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He also recorded the fastest lap of the race at Kentucky Speedway.
In 2012, he ran limited schedules in both Indy Lights and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East stock car series. [2]

Daniel Clive Wheldon was a British motor racing driver who won the 2005 IndyCar Series Drivers' Championship for Andretti Green Racing (AGR). He won the Indianapolis 500 in 2005 and 2011, and was co-winner of the 2006 24 Hours of Daytona with Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR).
Bryan John Herta is an American race strategist and former race car driver. He currently runs his own team, Bryan Herta Autosport in the NTT IndyCar Series and is the strategist for the #27 Andretti Autosport in the same series. His team won the 2011 Indianapolis 500 with driver Dan Wheldon and the 2016 Indianapolis 500 with driver Alexander Rossi. He is the father and former strategist of IndyCar driver Colton Herta.
Andretti Global, formerly known as Andretti Autosport, is an American motorsports organization with teams competing in the IndyCar Series, Indy NXT, Formula E, Extreme E, and joint entries in IMSA and the Australian Supercars Championship. The team was founded as Forsythe/Green Racing by Gerald Forsythe and Barry Green in 1993, and was known for most of its formative years as Team Green under the control of Green and his brother Kim, competing in the CART Indy Car World Series. 1991 CART champion Michael Andretti purchased a stake in the team in 2002, renaming it to Andretti Green Racing and switching to the Indy Racing League for the 2003 season. In his return to Formula Renault 3.5, where he competed in 2008, he won the 2011 season championship with Carlin Motorsport, with backing of Marussia. Wickens then left the series to race in the DTM for the HWA Team.

It began March 27, 2011 in St. Petersburg and ended on October 16 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and featured thirteen events: six on ovals, one on a permanent road course, and six on temporary street courses. The series was won by American driver Josef Newgarden, driving for Sam Schmidt Motorsports. Newgarden won the title by 94 points over team mate and fellow rookie Esteban Guerrieri of Argentina.
