The Dubai World Game Expo (DWGE) is a multigenre convention held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the month of November. The DWGE showcases game and app developers, game publishers, game distributors, retailers, and other businesses related to interactive entertainment. The DWGE is the largest event for video games and digital entertainment industry in the Middle East & North African (MENA) region. The Expo predates the more well-known "Comic Con" event which had its first Middle East Film and Comic Con in 2012. [1] The DWGE is held in order to introduce a wide variety of video games, online games, mobile games, edutainment & infotainment software, game related hardware, and next-generation platforms to the public and potential investors. Special events, game competition, presentation, and workshops will also be held during the show.

2015 - 2020

The 2015 Dubai World Game Expo will feature 130 different companies from 58 countries. Several countries including Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Morocco will have their own "pavilions" at the event. Some of the more well-known participants include Al-Futtaim Electronics, Apple Inc., Dubai Police, Equinix MENA, Facebook, Falafel Games Co Ltd., Game Cooks, GameCloud Studios, Gameforce, Gameloft, Gate2Play, Geekay Distribution General Trading LLC, HUAWEI Tech., IBM Middle East FZ LLC, Microsoft, Mobily, Mobogenie, Paybyme, paysafecard, Playzone, Semanoor International, Tahadi Games, TIMWE, TRA – Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and Ubisoft Abu Dhabi. Dubai World Game Expo was a 2-day event held from 14 to 15 November 2016 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This event showcased products various software products in the Toys & Games industry. [3]

Dubai World Game Expo is scheduled to place on May 10–11, 2017 in Dubai at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. DWGE introduces a variety of games, software, hardware, and next-generation platforms. [4]

The Emirates Hockey League (EHL) is the national ice hockey league of the United Arab Emirates. The league is governed by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Founded in 2009 by the country’s Winter Sports Federation and the Emirates Olympic Committee, and licensed by the International Hockey Federation, the league now (2019) consists of six teams: the Abu Dhabi Scorpions, the Dubai Vipers/White Bears, the Dubai Mighty Camels, the Abu Dhabi Storms, the Al Ain Theebs and the Abu Dhabi Shaheen Falcons. Apart from these some other exhibitors are show photographers, florists, wedding coordinators, professionals of wedding dresses & gowns and professionals of Fashion accessories, Bakeries, Banking, Beauty & Skin Care and Bridal Fashion. It is organised by Informa Exhibitions.

Abu Dhabi Medical Congress, popularly known as Abu Dhabi Med, is a medical healthcare exhibition and conference held annually at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the only event in the world that brings Emergency services, Patient Safety, Primary Healthcare and Rehabilitation businesses, organizations and professionals together under-one-roof for scientific and commercial exchange. During the event, international and local companies to showcase their latest products and innovations within the Emergency, Primary Healthcare, Patient Safety, Rehabilitation and Dentistry sectors. 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games Multi-sport event in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games were a special olympics multi-sport event for athletes with intellectual disabilities in the tradition of the Special Olympics movement. The event generally includes celebrities, video game tournaments, table top games, card games, movie previews, comic book stalls and a cosplay competition. This convention is owned and operated by IGN Middle East, the Middle Eastern edition of popular video games website IGN.

The Big Picture Art Platform

A non-profit art organization consists of an annual art exhibition as well as an expanded program of talks and collateral events in The United Arab Emirates. participating artists and curators for the juried exhibition are selected via an open call announced every December.

Abu Dhabi Art is an art fair that takes place every November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, featuring art gallerias, art and design foundations, as well as additional educational programming and talks.

The church's first self-standing meetinghouse in the Middle East was dedicated in Abu Dhabi in 2013. As of 2021, there are four meetinghouses and six congregations. In April 2020, the intent to construct a temple in Dubai was announced.
