The Dublin Senior B Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition involving the second tier hurling clubs in Dublin. The winners of the Dublin B Hurling Championship go on to qualify for the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship. The current senior B hurling club champions are Naomh Fionbarra.

The Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Roscommon GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Roscommon, Ireland. Since 2008 the winner goes on to play in the Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship. Before this Roscommon champions competed in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship. Athleague are the current champions, defeating Tremane in the 2021 decider; Athleague 3-12 Tremane 0-15. (Four Roads lead the Roll of Honour with 34 titles, followed by Roscommon Gaels with 24 titles. In the past Roscommon Gaels competed as St Coman's and Roscommon Town, while St Dominic's previously competed as St Patrick's.

The Sligo Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Sligo GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Sligo. The winner qualifies to represent the county in the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship. Previously, the winners used to compete in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship but were very unsuccessful at that level.

The Armagh Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Armagh GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Armagh. The winner qualifies to represent the county in either the Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship or the Ulster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, depending on the winner's recent record when competing at provincial level. Following their 2013 success, Cúchulainn's represented Armagh in the Ulster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, leaving Armagh without representation in the Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship for that year. Keady became the first Ulster Intermediate Champions from Armagh in 2007 and to date they are the first and only representatives from the county to reach the Ulster Senior Final in 2010.

The Cavan Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top hurling clubs in Cavan. The winners of the Cavan Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Club Championship, the winners of which go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. This championship has never been played on a consistent basis, and has frequently not been completed. In 2010, Mullahoran won the title for the 21st successive year. That run of victories was ended in 2011 when Ballymachugh beat Mullahoran in the final. In 2017, Mullahoran won their first title in four years with a win over Cootehill on a scoreline of 4–19 to 0–05. Cootehill are the current champions, having won the 2021 championship title.

The Derry Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition among the top four hurling clubs in Derry. The winners represent Derry in the Ulster Senior Club Hurling Championship, the winners of which progress to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship.

The Donegal Senior Hurling Championship is an annual GAA competition organised by Donegal GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Donegal.

The Kildare Senior Hurling Championship is an annual hurling competition organised since 1888 by Kildare GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Kildare, Ireland. Up until 2012, the winner received the Seán Carey Cup but a new trophy in honour of the late Tony Carew was donated by the Carew family in 2013. As of 2022, after Naas won the 2021 All-Ireland Intermediate title, the county champions qualify to represent Kildare in the Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship.

Robert Emmet's Gaelic Athletic Club Slaughtneil is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based on the townland of Slaughtneil, near Maghera, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Dublin Intermediate Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the Intermediate Dublin Clubs. The finalists of this Championship qualify for the Dublin Senior Hurling B Championship the following season. The winners of this competition play-off against the Senior B winners to determine which club represents Dublin in the Leinster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship

Kiltale GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club based in Kiltale, in County Meath, Ireland. The club was founded in the early 1920s, then disbanded in 1934 but reformed in 1946.

The 2016–17 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 47th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship since it began in the 1970-71 season. It is the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. The winners receive the Tommy Moore Cup.
