For almost thirteen years, Walshaw currently holds a Zimbabwean record in the 200 m freestyle. While studying in the United States, he received two All-American honors in the freestyle relay as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide swimming and diving team.
Ravil Nachaev is an Uzbek former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. He is a three-time Olympian, and a gold medalist in the 50 m freestyle at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.

Haitham Hazem Mohamed Hassan is an Egyptian former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke, butterfly, and individual medley events. He collected a total of six medals from the All-Africa Games, and later represented Egypt at the 2000 Summer Olympics. While studying in the United States, Hassan was named 2000 Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Year and 2001 Swimmer of the Year by The Summit League. He also played for the Oakland University's swimming and diving team, under head coach Pete Hovland.
Joe Kyong-fan is a South Korean former swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events. Joe competed in a breaststroke double at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He achieved FINA B-standards of 1:05.00 and 2:20.20 from the Dong-A Swimming Tournament in Ulsan. In the 100 m breaststroke, held on the first day of the Games, Joe challenged seven other swimmers in heat four, including two-time Olympians Valērijs Kalmikovs of Latvia and Arsenio López of Puerto Rico. He earned a fifth spot and forty-fifth overall by almost seven-tenths of a second (0.70) behind joint winners Kalmikovs and Lopez in 1:04.71, worthy enough for a personal best. Three days later, in the 200 m breaststroke, Joe placed twenty-ninth on the morning prelims. He set a new South Korean record of 2:19.16 to overhaul a 2:20 barrier and to touch the wall first in heat three.
Theophilus "Theo" Verster is a South African former swimmer, who specialised in butterfly and in individual medley events. He won three medals at the 1999 All-Africa Games, and later represented South Africa at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He also held an African record of 55.04 from the 2002 Telkom International Sprint Challenge that defeated Terence Parkin for a top finish and sliced off Brendon Dedekind's standard by 0.37 of a second. During his sporting career, Verster trained full-time under his personal coach Alisdair Hatfield.

While studying in the United States, Fahy is also a member of the Yale University swimming and diving team, also known as Yale Bulldogs, under head coach Frank Keefe.
Roberto Delgado Martillo is an American-Ecuadorian former swimmer who specialized in freestyle and butterfly events. A two-time Olympian, he holds numerous Ecuadorian records in both 100 and 200 m butterfly, and retains his dual resident status to compete internationally for his parents' homeland. While studying in the United States, Delgado has been listed as an all-time Top 10 performer in the 200 m butterfly for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Howard Xavier Hinds is a Curaçao former swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a member of the Fort Lauderdale Swim Team, under head coach Jack Nelson.
Rodrigo Olivares Aramburu is a retired Chilean swimmer, who specialized in sprint freestyle events. Olivares competed only in a sprint freestyle at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. He achieved FINA B-standards of 23.32 and 52.31 from the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In the 100 m freestyle, Olivares placed sixty-two on the morning prelims. Swimming in heat five, he rounded out the field to last place by almost a full second behind Zimbabwe's Glen Walshaw in 53.50. Two days later, in the 50 m freestyle, Olivares participated in heat five against seven other swimmers, including three-time Olympians Richard Sam Bera of Indonesia and Allan Murray of the Bahamas, top 16 finalist in Atlanta four years earlier. Failing to improve his standard, he settled only for seventh place and fifty-fifth overall in 54.50, a 1.38-second deficit behind winner Ravil Nachaev of Uzbekistan.
