Greenville County is a county located in the state of South Carolina, in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 451,225, making it the most populous county in the state. In 2017, the estimated population of the county was 506,837. Its county seat is Greenville. The county is also home to the Greenville County School District, the largest school system in South Carolina. County government is headquartered at Greenville County Square.
Hendersonville is a city in Henderson County, North Carolina, United States. It is 22 miles (35 km) south of Asheville and is the county seat of Henderson County. Like the county, the city is named for 19th-century North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Leonard Henderson.

City View is a census-designated place (CDP) in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,345 at the 2010 census, up from 1,254 in 2000. It is part of the Greenville–Mauldin–Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. Joey Simun is the current mayor of City View.
Travelers Rest is a city in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 4,576 at the 2010 census, up from 4,099 in 2000. The population was an estimated 4,994 in 2015. It is part of the Greenville–Mauldin–Easley Metropolitan Statistical Area. Travelers Rest is located between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Greenville, the primary city of the Upstate region of South Carolina. The campus of Furman University is located just south of the city limits of Travelers Rest, but the university retains a Greenville address based on its ZIP code. The name "Travelers Rest" came from the fact that it is situated close to the border with the North Carolina mountains. Travelers would stop for a moment in the town before they began the difficult journey into the mountains. Travelers would often have to spend the winter there, waiting for the snow to clear in the mountains before continuing northward.
Pickens, formerly called Pickens Courthouse, is a city in Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 3,126 at the 2010 census. Pickens changed its classification from a town to a city in 1998, but it was not reported to the Census Bureau until 2001. It is the county seat of Pickens County. It was named after Andrew Pickens (1739–1817), an American revolutionary soldier and US Congressman for South Carolina.

Vickery Place is a historic neighborhood in East Dallas, Texas, bounded on the north by Goodwin Avenue, on the west by North Central Expressway and Henderson, on the south by Belmont, and on the east by Greenville Avenue. Although Vickery Place is considered by some to be part of the M Streets area, it is strictly speaking not as it is south of the Greenland Hills subdivision. North Main is a neighborhood in Greenville, South Carolina located near the downtown area. One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, it was founded 1813 as a business location. Residential usage was expanded in 1896-7 that continued until the 1920s. Growth was slowed during the Great Depression, and slowed even further when US 29 began being built in the 1930s between Greenville and Spartanburg and was finally opened in 1946 following construction being halted to World War II.
Overbrook is a neighborhood in Greenville, South Carolina. It is a neighborhood built in 1913 upon expansion of the trolley line that was extended into the area three years earlier. Bungalow homes were built in this area from 1913 to 1924. Overbrook was developed by the Woodside brothers, who had made their fortunes managing the Woodside Cotton Mill, at one point the largest textile plant in the World.
West End is a neighborhood in Greenville, South Carolina. Located across the Reedy River in downtown, the west end became home to Furman University when it was first established in 1852. The school expanded to fill fifty acres and then moved to its current location northwest of the city in 1958. The Greenville and Columbia Railroad arrived there in 1853, bringing increased commercial activity to the neighborhood that had been first settled in the 1830s.
McDaniel Park is pocket park in Greenville, South Carolina, near the intersection of McDaniel Avenue and McDaniel Green, adjacent to the Rock Quarry Garden, Cleveland Park. McDaniel Park was dedicated to the Dorothy Haynsworth Garden Club in October 2015; and it features a statue, "Swimmer" (1985), by Jeanne Pasley (Messer) (1918-2013), in memory of Eugenia (Woo) and William Thomason, who died in 2013 of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.
