The Mast General Store is a general store located in Historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina. It is recognized by the National Register of Historic Places as one of the best remaining examples of the type. It is still the center of the community housing the post office and offering coffee for 5¢ on the honor system. There is even a large wood stove you can sit around on cold days swapping stories or playing a game of checkers. It remains true to the old-time tradition by offering items that its neighbors might need, as well as products of interest to travelers and other visitors. Today there are eleven locations, including the Original Store and Annex, both located in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. The store sells commodities, such as old-time hearth and home goods, outdoor clothing and gear, footwear, work clothes, old-fashioned wind-up toys, regional books and music, honey, and more than 500 varieties of old-fashioned candy.
Poinsett Bridge is the oldest bridge in South Carolina and perhaps in the entire southeastern United States. Named for Joel Roberts Poinsett, it was built in 1820 as part of a road from Columbia, South Carolina, to Saluda Mountain. The stone bridge, which includes a 14-foot (4.3 m) Gothic arch and stretches 130 feet (40 m) over Little Gap Creek, may have been designed by Robert Mills, architect of the Washington Monument. Though no longer in use, the bridge remains largely intact and is part of the 120-acre (48.6 ha) Poinsett Bridge Heritage Preserve. There is a nature trail a few hundred yards from the bridge.The bridge, about which ghost stories have been told for decades, is located off U.S. Highway 25 north of Greenville, South Carolina. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.
McBee Methodist Church, also known as McBee Chapel, is an octagonal, brick, United Methodist church building on Main Street in Conestee, Greenville County, South Carolina. Built in 1856, it was designed by millwright John Adams and named for Vardry McBee (1775–1864), the "Father of Greenville," whose son donated the money to build it. The church was built with a balcony used by slaves. When the balcony was removed sometime following the Civil War, its separate door, to the left of the main entrance, was converted into another window.
Broad Margin is the name given to the private residence originally commissioned by Gabrielle and Charlcey Austin. It is located in Greenville, South Carolina, United States, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and was built by local builder Harold T. Newton in 1954. It is one of two buildings designed by Wright in South Carolina.
Paris Mountain State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of South Carolina, located five miles (8 km) north of Greenville. Activities available in the 1,540-acre (6 km2) park include hiking, biking, swimming and picnicking. The 13-acre (52,609 m2) Lake Placid offers swimming and fishing. Canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats are seasonally available for rental; private boats are not permitted. Camping is allowed and campsites range from rustic, back country sites to paved sites with water and electricity hook-ups. The park's Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) structures, including the Camp Buckhorn lodge, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. m.
Campbell's Covered Bridge is a wooden covered bridge in northeastern Greenville County, South Carolina, near the small town of Gowensville, and crosses Beaverdam Creek off Pleasant Hill Road.

Downtown Baptist Church, is a historic church building located at 101 W. McBee Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. It was constructed in 1858 as the new home of First Baptist Church of Greenville, replacing an earlier structure on the banks of the Reedy River. The congregation of First Baptist Church vacated the site for a new campus on Cleveland Street in the late 1970s at which time a minority of the congregation elected to remain at the downtown site and start a new church under the name Downtown Baptist Church.
John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic church at 101 E. Court Street in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. The church was founded in 1866 by James R. Rosemond, who was a former slave. It was originally named Silver Hill United Methodist Episcopal Church, and was renamed after John Wesley in 1902.
Latta Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Latta, Dillon County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 13 contributing buildings in the central business district of Latta. The buildings were erected between about 1895 and 1928. They include buildings that housed a variety of mercantile establishments such as grocery stores, drugstores, a hotel, two banks, and several dry goods stores concentrated in a block east of the railroad on Main Street. Notable buildings include the Parham Building, McMillan Building, Cox Building, and Kornblut's Department Store.
Southern Bleachery and Print Works is a historic factory building in Taylors, Greenville County, South Carolina. Founded by former Furman University English professor Bennette Geer, and built by the J. E. Sirrine Company of Greenville, the mill operated between 1924 and 1965, with the last historic structure being built in 1952. The property consists of 15 contributing resources, including a main building, warehouses, a smokestack, a detached boiler room with smokestack, a filtration plant, and two ponds. The bleachery acquired unfinished goods produced by other textile mills and converted them by bleaching, dyeing, and finishing into material used to manufacture clothing and other items. A small mill village, including Baptist and Methodist churches, was established nearby, and many mill houses continued to exist into the 21st century.
The Lanneau-Norwood House is a historic, late 19th-century house on Belmont Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. The house is an outstanding example of Second Empire architecture in the American South and is one of the last surviving Victorian-era homes in Greenville. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
