Adolph Edward "Eddiebong" Galido Plaza (born August 21,1962) is a Filipino industrial engineer and politician. He currently serves as a member of the Philippine House of Representatives representing the 2nd District of Agusan del Sur. [1]

The United States Congress is the legislature of the federal government of the United States. It is bicameral,composed of a lower body,the House of Representatives,and an upper body,the Senate. It meets in the U.S. Capitol in Washington,D.C. Senators and representatives are chosen through direct election,though vacancies in the Senate may be filled by a governor's appointment. Congress has 535 voting members:100 senators and 435 representatives. The U.S. vice president has a vote in the Senate only when senators are evenly divided. The House of Representatives has six non-voting members.
The speaker of the United States House of Representatives,commonly known as the speaker of the House,is the presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives. The office was established in 1789 by Article I,Section II,of the U.S. Constitution. By custom and House rules,the speaker is the political and parliamentary leader of the House and is simultaneously its presiding officer,de facto leader of the body's majority party,and the institution's administrative head. Speakers also perform various other administrative and procedural functions. Given these several roles and responsibilities,the speaker usually does not personally preside over debates—that duty is instead delegated to members of the House from the majority party—nor regularly participate in floor debates.

Both houses are directly elected under a parallel voting system. In addition to passing laws,the Diet is formally responsible for nominating the Prime Minister. The Rajya Sabha,constitutionally the Council of States,is the upper house of the bicameral Parliament of India. As of 2023,it has a maximum membership of 250,of which 238 are elected by the legislatures of the states and union territories using single transferable votes through open ballots,while the president can appoint 12 members for their contributions to art,literature,science,and social service. The total allowed capacity is 250 according to article 80 of the Indian Constitution. The current potential seating capacity of the Rajya Sabha is 245,after the Jammu and Kashmir (Reorganisation) Act,2019,the seats came down to 245. The maximum seats of 250 members can be filled up at the discretion and requirements of the house of Rajya Sabha.

The House of Representatives consists of 400 members coming from 203 legislative districts across the state,created from divisions of the state's counties. On average,each legislator represents about 3,300 residents,which is the smallest lower house representative-to-population ratio in the country.
