Edison High School is a public high school in Milan, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Edison Local Schools district. The elementary school is located in Milan. The middle school is in Berlin Heights.

Edison was created in 1968 when the school districts from Berlin Heights and Milan consolidated. [3]

Athletics

The Edison Chargers compete in the Sandusky Bay Conference and wear the colors of blue and orange. They had previously competed in the Firelands Conference from 1968-1986, while prior to the consolidation, Berlin Heights and Milan had helped form the FC in 1960.

The Southern Ohio Conference (S.O.C.) is an athletic conference in Ohio. The conference is also a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the governing body of Ohio athletics. There are currently seventeen member schools in the conference. The S.O.C. includes teams from five different Ohio counties - Jackson County, Gallia County Lawrence County, Pike County, and Scioto County. The conference recognizes: baseball, boys' and girls' basketball, boys' and girls' cross country, football, boys' and girls' soccer, fast pitch softball, boys' and girls' swimming, boys' and girls' tennis, boys' and girls' track and field athletics, and girls' volleyball.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Firelands Conference</span>

The Firelands Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) athletic league located in north-central Ohio. The league was formed in the 1960–61 school year and is named for the Firelands area of the old Western Reserve, where most of the member schools reside. High schools in this conference are located in Ashland, Huron, and Richland counties. Some of the schools' district boundaries extend into the neighboring counties of Crawford, Erie, and Lorain. Most of the founding schools came from the defunct Huron-Erie League.
