Praise Davis Akpan (born 22 December 2000) is a Nigerian Afrobeat Musician from Akwa Ibom State, but born and brought up in Port Harcourt. [1]

Praiz D’s music career hit the spotlight after he won second runner-up in the maiden season of Project Fame West Africa. Praiz d’s is best known for releasing hit singles like “Hustlers Anthem and Konji”, “Amina” and “Gimme Love”. He contributed guest vocals to Bez’s 2011 single “That Stupid Song”. Praiz D has been pushing his musical career by releasing songs, Ep’s.


After a long time of chasing his dreams of becoming a star came to pass after he posted a review video of his upcoming EP “Depressed” on his social media story and Nigerian musical sensation and CEO of Mavin Record Donjazzy replied his post “Can you come to studio tomorrow?, would love to work with you Praiz”. On 22 July 2014, he released the hit single titled “MY FADA” which got positive reviews and massive airplay thus getting him nominated in several award events.
