Ehan Bhat (born 11 February 1992) is an Indian actor, best known for his leading role in the film 99 Songs (2019), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He has since acted in the web series Broken But Beautiful (2021) and the film Starfish (2023). [1] [2] [3] [4]

Early Life

Ehan Bhat was born on 11 February, 1992 in Srinagar in the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India into a Kashmiri Pandit family. [5] Bhat spent more than a year at A.R. Rahman's musical institute, KM Music Conservatory in the Arumbakkam of Chennai, Tamil Nadu to prepare for his role and learn to play the piano. [5] Upon Rehman's recommendation, Bhat then went on to get his training done from Bernard Hiller, a renowned acting coach, based in Los Angeles, California. [5]
