Eidsvoll Station (Norwegian : Eidsvoll stasjon) was a railway station at Eidsvoll in Akershus, Norway. It was located on the Trunk Line (Hovedbanen). [1]
Eidsvoll Station opened in 1854 as the terminus of Norway's first railway. It had a temporary building at first, but a proper building with hotel was opened in 1858. That station building burned down on October 16, 1877. The present building was designed by Jacob Wilhelm Nordan and constructed in 1878, similar to the previous. A 20-room hotel was established in the station building which from 1924 was under the operation of Norsk Spisevognselskap, which also took over the restaurant. [2] [3] [4]
The former Eidsvoll Station remained in use until 1998, when the construction of the Gardermoen Line forced the opening of the new Eidsvoll Station which was built slightly northwards to allow it to serve the Trunk Line, the Gardermoen Line and the Dovre Line. [5] [6]

Though the Dovre Line and the Trunk Line/Gardermoen Line practically are the same continual railway, there is a naming change at the station, thus making it a terminus for all the three lines. The station serves the Oslo Commuter Rail to Kongsberg and regional trains to Lillehammer, Drammen and Skien. In the summer the paddle steamer Skibladner operates from the docks at the station.
Kongsberg Station is a railway station located in downtown Kongsberg in Buskerud, Norway, on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by express trains to Kristiansand and is the terminus of the L12 line from Oslo and Eidsvoll.
Hamar Station is a railway station of the Dovre Line and the Røros Line located in downtown Hamar, Norway. Located 126.26 kilometers (78.45 mi) from Oslo Central Station, it is served by long-distance and regional trains on the Dovre Line, as the terminus for regional trains on the Røros Line. All trains are operated by SJ Norge, except the regional trains between Lillehammer and Oslo, which are operated by Vy. A side platform and an island platform are in regular use. It is located about 399 kilometres (248 mi) from Oslo Central Station and it sits about 628 metres (2,060 ft) above mean sea level. Service to the station is provided though regional trains operated by SJ Norge to Trondheim and Hamar. The station was opened in 1877, the same time that the Røros Line opened. The station restaurant was taken over by Norsk Spisevognselskap on 1 December 1944.
Tønsberg Station on the Vestfold Line, is the main railway station in the town of Tønsberg in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The station is located in the downtown area, to the east of the hill Slottsfjellet. It is located at an altitude of 14.5 meters (48 ft) above mean sea level, and is 115.68 kilometers (71.88 mi) from Oslo Central Station. The current station is from 1915.

The station was built in 1862 as part of the Kongsvinger Lin and designed in Swiss chalet style by Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno. Later a branch line, the Solør Line, was built to Elverum.

Kornsjø Station is a railway station located at Kornsjø in Halden, Norway, on the Østfold Line. The station is located 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) from the Norway–Sweden border and was opened in 1879 for changing crew on international trains between Sweden and Norway and for the customs office. The building was destroyed by fire in 1898 and a new larger stone building was built. The restaurant was taken over by Norsk Spisevognselskap from 1 August 1924, but was then privatized from 1932. The signal equipment connected to the station is fully Norwegian, but some of it is located on the Swedish side.

Norsk Spisevognselskap A/S, often abbreviated NSS or shortened to Spisevognselskapet, was a Norwegian state enterprise which operated restaurant carriages on Norwegian trains and restaurants at railway stations and railway hotels. The company was established in December 1918, and started a catering service in 1919. Originally owned by the Norwegian Trunk Railway, it was acquired by the state in 1926. Meals served in the restaurant carriages were relatively expensive, although they were available to all passengers. In the 1950s, the company began using serving trolleys on trains.
Mosjøen Station is a railway station located in the town of Mosjøen in Vefsn Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The station is located along the Nordland Line. The station opened in 1940. Since 1 March 1948, the restaurant operations were taken over by Norsk Spisevognselskap.
Fagernes Station was a railway station located in Fagernes, Nord-Aurdal, Norway. It was on the Valdres Line (Valdresbanen) which was in operation from 1902 until 1989.
