Plot

Prashant (Naik), who has been looking after his father's money lending business, falls in love at first sight with Divya (Sonal Monteiro) on the college campus. He asks Divya to marry him. A few days after they meet, she asks him to convince her parents, who oppose the marriage. The couple asks Gopal (Naveen D Padil) for help to get married. But unforeseen events happen.

Production for the film started on 1 December 2014 when its muhurat shot took place. [5] The film was released on 1 May 2015 in 11 theatres across Karnataka. [2] [6]

Koti Chennaya is 2007 historical Tulu language film based on the lives of Koti and Chennayya, the twin cultural folk heroes of Tulu Nadu. The film, which combines history, folklore and social stratum of yesteryear Tulu Nadu, is directed by Anand P Raju, with R Dhanaraj serving as producer under the banner of Prarthana Creations. The film stars Balakrishna Shetty, Shekar Kotian, Vinaya Prasad and Neethu.

Chandi Kori is a 2015 Indian Tulu film directed by Devadas Kapikad also appearing in a supporting role. Arjun Kapikad and Karishma Amin star in lead roles, and Naveen D. Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Gopinath Bhat and Aravind Bolar feature in supporting roles. The film successfully completes 100 days in Mangalore and Udupi. Naveen D. Padil is an Indian theatre and film actor who has performed in over a thousand plays mostly in Tulu language. Known widely in the circles of Tulu theatre from his acting performances as a "Master of Comedy and Tragedy", he is called "Kusalda Arase". He is known mainly for his portrayal of comical characters. Padil along with Devadas Kapikad and Aravind Bolar formed a famous trio that appeared in Tulu comedy plays during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Aravind Bolar is an Indian actor who primarily works in Tulu and Kannada-language films. Bolar began his career in Yakshagana, and he has acted in more than 100 plays and 50 plus films.

Sandeep Shetty is an Indian actor known for his roles in Tulu Cinemas like Dhand, Madime, Ekka Saka and many Dramas and stage performances. He, along with his team, Prashamsa won Bale Telipale, a stand-up comedy contest show on Namma TV for three consecutive years in Coastal Karnataka. Sandeep has performed more than 1000 stage shows in international locations such as Muscat, Dubai, Kuwait and Bahrain, as well as locations within India including Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune.

Bhojaraj Vamanjoor is an Indian actor, who predominantly works in Tulu theatre and Tulu film industry. Vamanjoor is also a Yakshagana Artist. He is one of the active members of the Tulu drama troupe "Cha Parka Kalavidher Kudla" along with Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D. Padil and Aravind Bolar. He can be seen in most Tulu plays directed by Devadas Kapikad.

Highlighting the futility of the orthodox traditions practiced in the region of Tulu Nadu, the film focuses on Bhootaradhane, a practice of worshipping and appeasing demigods; Buta Kola; and relations between the Hindus and Muslims in the region. The plot revolves around the trouble with depression the protagonist goes through as he steps out of the said practises that he had previously been observing.

Umil is a Tulu language film directed by Ranjith Suvarna starring Umesh Mijar in lead role and Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Chethan Rai Mani, Sathish Bandale and Deepak Rai in prominent roles. Ravi Basrur composed the music of the movie. For the first time Kannada Actor Puneeth Rajkumar has rendered his voice for a Tulu song. The Movie was released on 7 December 2018.

Magane Mahisha is a 2022 Indian Tulu language film written and directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor. The cast of the movie includes Devadas Kapikad, Jyothi Rai, Naveen D Padil, Arvind Bolar and Bhojaraj Vamnjoor in lead roles. Magane Mahisha has been produced by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor under the banner of Veeru Talkies. The movie was released on 29 April 2022. The music of the film is released worldwide by Movietone Digital Entertainment Pvt Ltd under its flagship music label “OnClick Music” in Tulu & Kannada language both.
