El Elegido (born November 23, 1975) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado , or masked professional wrestler. Elegido is best known for his appearances with the Mexican professional wrestling promotion AAA, [4] where he has worked primarily as a tecnico (a face, or those that portray the "good guys") and for a while as a member of the rudo (Heel, those that portray the "bad guys") stable Los Mirreyes alongside Alan Stone and Toscano. He has also worked for International Wrestling Revolution Group and smaller independent groups. [5]

In 2007, Elegido was among several luchadors that represented AAA in an inter-promotional show with Pro Wrestling Noah at the Differ Ariake Arena. [6]

He is known for his entrances consisting of him somersaulting from all four ring corners after raising both arms in the air at each corner. His gear consists of a black mask with a Celtic cross on the forehead of the mask, and black trunks. [1] His ring name is Spanish for "The Chosen One"

Professional wrestling career

Elegido debuted on March 20, 2006. He became a regular with AAA that year. [7]

He often teamed with El Intocable, who had a similar gimmick and often competed against various members of Los Guapos VIP.

On July 15, 2007, he competed in his first Triplemanía at Triplemanía XV, picking up the win in a trios against Los Guapos VIP. [7]

On March 15, 2009, he was defeated in the semifinals of the Rey de Reyes tournament. In 2009, he also teamed with Gronda II in Gronda's short feud against the original "Gronda", Groon XXX.

On October 1, 2010, he competed in a Torneo cibernetico match with the stipulation that he would lose his mask if he was final person pinned. While he did get pinned, he was able to escape the match with his mask intact. [7]

As of February 2017, despite competing in AAA for over 10 years, he has yet to win any AAA titles. [7]

He competed at Rey de Reyes (2017) for the Rey de Reyes sword. the also match also included La Parka , Argenis , Averno , Pimpinela Escarlata , Niño Hamburguesa , Joe Líder , Chessman , which Argenis won.

He has worked for both Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and AAA throughout his career, but currently works on the Mexican independent circuit. Zumbido is closely associated with the group Los Guapos, a group he has been part of both in CMLL and AAA.

Alan Stone is a Mexican professional wrestler who has competed in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre since the late 1990s. The son of luchador El Bello Greco, he is a second-generation wrestler along with his brothers Super Calo and Chris Stone with whom he teams with as Los Bellos Stones.

He is known for being a former member of the tag team La Hermandad Extrema with Nicho el Millonario who, like himself, is one of several wrestlers to emerge from the independent circuit during the 1990s. Álvarez is also the real-life brother of Demoledor and had faced him on several occasions during his career, most notably, defeating him in their hometown in a "hair vs. hair" match at the Arena Victoria in January 2005.

On January 11, 2020, Huerta died from complications arising from injuries that he sustained from a botched move during an October 2019 match.

He has previously wrestled as El Gronda, Gronda XXX, Groond XXX and Gran Masther and has worked for Mexico's two largest wrestling promotions AAA and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and currently works on the Mexican Independent Circuit. Groon XXX's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is a trained nutritionist, fitness trainer and owner of his own gym in Mexico.

Ignacio Patiño, better known under the ring names Soul Rocker and Tito Santana is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler, currently working for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He is the son of retired luchador Kendor and actually worked as Kendor II early in his career. From 2005 through 2012, he used the name Tito Santana, although he is not related to the better-known Tito Santana. He began using the name again in 2017 after losing his mask.
