Elena Ruiz Barril [1] (born 29 October 2004) is a Spanish water polo player who won the silver medal with the Spain women's national water polo team at the 2020 Summer Olympics celebrated in Tokyo, Japan. [2] [3]
As for water polo, the UAB Olympians are the goalkeeper of the women's national team Laura Ester Ramos (Biochemistry alumni), Álvaro Granados Ortega (Law), Nonas Pérez Vivas (Psychology), Paula Leitón Arrones (Sociocultural Gender Studies), Elena Ruiz Barril (Nursing) and Isabel Piralkova Coello (International Relations).
