Elizabeth Jimie (born 28 June 1992 in Kuching, Sarawak) is a Malaysian diver, who specialised in individual and synchronised springboard events. [1] She won the gold medal, along with her partner Leong Mun Yee, in the women's 3 m synchronised springboard event, and added the bronze for the 1 m springboard at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand. She is also a two-time bronze medalist at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
Jimie qualified for the women's 3 m individual springboard event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, after finishing fifth in the Olympic test event. [2] She finished twenty-first in the preliminary rounds of the competition, with a score of 253.50 points, tying a position with her diving partner Leung Mun Yee. [3]
Malaysia competed in the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. The country was represented by 244 athletes competing in 23 of the 39 sports provided. Among the popular sports were aquatics, athletics, badminton, bodybuilding, bowling, cycling, hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, kabaddi, karate-do, sepak takraw, squash, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting and wushu. Athletes from Malaysia won overall 42 medals, and clinched the eleventh spot in the medal table. Abdullah Sani Karim was the chief of the delegation.

Guo Jingjing is a retired Chinese diver, and multi-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion. Guo is tied with her partner Wu Minxia for winning the most Olympic medals (6) of any female diver and she won the 3m springboard event at five consecutive World Championships. She announced her retirement in 2011.
Dato Pandelela Rinong Pamg is a Malaysian diver. She has won two Olympic medals and seven World Championships medals.
Jennifer Abel is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Her ten medals at the FINA World Championships are a record for most medals by a Canadian in diving at the world championships.
Bryan Nickson Lomas is a former Malaysian diver. Lomas was the youngest Malaysian athlete to qualify for 2004 Summer Olympics when he was 14. He became the country's first world junior diving champion after winning gold at the 3 m springboard event in the World Junior Championships held at Belém, Brazil in 2004. He trained under the coaching of Yang Zhuliang. Lomas is named after the footballer Bryan Robson by his father.
Anabelle "Belle" Smith is an Australian diver. She is the 2022 Commonwealth Games champion in the 3 metre synchronized springboard. She competed in the 3 m springboard synchronized event at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal in 2016, and was placed fifth in 2012.
Cheong Jun Hoong is a retired Malaysian diver. She won a silver medal in the synchronised 10m platform event with Pandelela Rinong at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, she became Malaysia's first diving world champion after winning the 10m platform event.
Datuk Leong Mun Yee is a retired Malaysian diver. She competed at the 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics with the best result of seventh place in the 10 m synchronised platform event in 2012. Her appearance at the 2008 Summer Olympics made her the first Malaysian diver to compete at three Olympics. The bronze medal that she and Pandelela Rinong won at the 2009 World Championships was the first World Championship medal for Malaysia.

Jorge Luis Pupo is a Cuban diver, who specialized in individual and synchronized springboard events. Pupo competed for the 3 m individual springboard event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, along with his compatriot Jorge Betancourt. He placed twenty-seventh in the preliminary round of the competition, with a total score of 388.70 points. In 2011, Pupo, and his partner Rene Hernandez won a bronze medal for the men's 3 m synchronized springboard event at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, with an overall score of 384.33 points.
Hayley Dawn Sage is an English diver, who specialized in individual and synchronized springboard events. She won the bronze medal, along with her partner Tandi Gerrard, in the women's 3 m synchronised springboard event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. Hayley represented Great Britain 32 times at international events, also achieving 10 Great Britain National titles and 26 County Championship titles representing Hertfordshire.
Tandi Jane Indergaard is a South-African born English diver, who specialized in individual and synchronized springboard events. Since 2001, Indergaard holds a dual citizenship with South Africa and Great Britain in order to compete internationally for diving. She is a three-time British diving champion and a bronze medalist for the synchronised springboard at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia.
Jenna Louise Dreyer is a female South African diver, who specialized in springboard and platform events. She is a two-time Olympian, and an honorable All-American mention on the 3 m springboard and 10 m platform, while residing in the United States.

She has also won gold medals at the 2017 and 2019 World Aquatics Championships and 2022 Commonwealth Games, and silver medals at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Grace Elizabeth Reid is a Scottish diver representing Scotland and Great Britain, and specialising in 1 metre and 3 metre springboard disciplines. She is a world championship silver medallist in the 1 metre springboard, twice a world medallist in the 3 metre mixed synchronised 3 metre springboard discipline, a double gold medallist at both the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games as well as a multiple minor medallist in both those events, the European Games and the FINA Diving World Cup. Domestically, Reid is a three-time national champion.
The diving competitions at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur took place at National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil. It was one of four aquatic sports at the Games, along with swimming, water polo, and synchronised swimming.
