The Embassy of Italy in Kiev is the diplomatic mission of Italy in Ukraine. [2]
Following Ukrainian independence on August 24, 1991, Italy recognized Ukraine on December 28, 1991. On January 29, 1992, diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Italy were established.
Germany–Ukraine relations are foreign relations between Germany and Ukraine. Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Germany originally were established in 1918 as between Ukrainian People's Republic and German Empire, but were discontinued soon thereafter due to occupation of Ukraine by the Red Army. Iran–Ukraine relations refer to the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Ukraine. The relationship between the two countries is strong; Iran has an Embassy in Kiev and Ukraine has an embassy in Tehran. Iran had been attempting to strenghten relations in Europe including Ukraine. In 2010 Ukrainian ambassador Oleksandr Samarsky offered his diplomatic credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, calling for the two countries to increase cooperation with each other. Mottaki agreed with the statement.
