Emily Marie Piriz (born January 28, 1996) [2] is an American singer from Miami, Florida, who finished in 12th place on the thirteenth season of American Idol in 2014. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] She was also a semi-finalist on the second season of La Voz in 2020. She also auditioned for the first season of The X Factor .

Piriz released her debut single, "One of Those Nights", on November 15, 2014. [8] [9] On February 13, 2019, she and David Diaz released a cover of "Like to Be You" (which was originally recorded by Shawn Mendes and Julia Michaels) as a single. La Voz is an American Spanish-language singing competition television series broadcast on Telemundo. The show premiered January 13, 2019, and is based on the original The Voice of Holland, and part of the global franchise The Voice that aims to find aspiring singers, age 18 or over, drawn from public auditions. The winner receives a monetary prize and a record contract with Universal Music.

The first season of La Voz premiered on January 13, 2019 on Telemundo. The coaches for this season were Luis Fonsi, Carlos Vives, Alejandra Guzmán and Wisin. The season was hosted by Jorge Bernal, Jacqueline Bracamontes and Jéssica Cediel backstage.

The second season of La Voz premiered January 19, 2020, on Telemundo. Wisin, Alejandra Guzmán, Luis Fonsi and Carlos Vives returned as coaches from the previous season. Meanwhile, Jorge Bernal and Jacqueline Bracamontes continued as hosts, joined by Nastassja Bolívar as the backstage reporter. This season also featured a fifth coach, Mau y Ricky, who selected contestants to participate in The Comeback Stage.

Gabriela Sepúlveda is an American singer-songwriter, and actress of Mexican-Chilean descent singing in both Spanish as well as English.
