Emma Misak, also known as Emma, [1] is a Canadian olympic breakdancer. [2] [3] She participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in the dancesport competition, being awarded the silver medal in the B-Girls' event. Emma was born in Surrey, BC and represents the Stray Path crew. [4]
Breaking, also called b-boying, b-girling or breakdancing, is a style of street dance originating in the Bronx by African American and Puerto Rican communities in New York City, United States. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, breakdancing mainly consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes. Breakdancing is typically set to songs containing drum breaks, especially in funk, soul music and hip-hop music, although modern trends allow for much wider varieties of music along certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns.
Bronte Campbell is a Malawian-born Australian competitive swimmer, a dual Olympic gold-medal winner and world champion. Her older sister, Cate, is also a competitive swimmer, and once held world records in both the short and long course 100 metre individual freestyle events. Bronte and Cate are the first Australian siblings on the same Olympic swimming team since the 1972 Olympics and the first Australian sisters ever to compete within the same swimming event at the Olympics. Bronte Campbell won three gold medals at the 2015 World Championships, including the 50 and 100 metre freestyle events.
Emma Jennifer McKeon, is an Australian competitive swimmer. She is an eight-time world record holder, three current and five former, in relays. Her total career haul of 11 Olympic medals following the 2020 Olympic Games made her Australia's most decorated Olympian and included one gold medal from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and four gold medals from the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. With four gold and three bronze medals she was the most decorated athlete across all sports at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and tied for the most medals won by a woman in a single Olympic Games. Flávia Lopes Saraiva is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. She represented Brazil at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. She was part of the teams that won silver at the 2023 World Championships, gold at the 2018 South American Games and bronze at the 2015 and 2019 Pan American Games. Individually she is the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic floor exercise champion, the 2023 World Championships floor exercise bronze medalist and is a multi-medalist at the Pan American Games, South American Games, and Pan American Championships.
Christopher Phillip Langridge is a retired British badminton player. He competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won three medals. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal in the men's doubles, partnered with Marcus Ellis. They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games.
Madison Maree Wilson, is an Australian competitive swimmer who has participated in backstroke and freestyle events at the Olympic Games and the FINA world championships. Wilson has been a member of six world record Australian relay teams, most recently at the 2022 Short Course World Championships.
Ariarne Elizabeth Titmus, is an Australian swimmer. She is the reigning Olympic champion in the women's 200-metre and 400-metre freestyle, having won both events at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and the world record holder in the long course 400-metre freestyle event. In 2019 and 2020, she competed representing the Cali Condors in the International Swimming League.

The 2020 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, was an international multi-sport event held in Tokyo, Japan, from 23 July to 8 August 2021. The games were postponed by one year as part of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sports. However, the Games was referred to by its original date in all medals, uniforms, promotional items, and other related media in order to avoid confusion in future years. A total of 11,417 athletes from 206 nations participated in 339 events in 33 sports across 50 different disciplines.
Jeremy Lalrinnunga is an Indian weightlifter from Aizawl, Mizoram. He represented India in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. He won the gold medal in the Boys' 62 kg category weightlifting with a lift of 274 kg. It was India's first gold medal in the Youth Olympic Games. Jeremy won silver medal in Asian weightlifting championship. At the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships, Lalrinnunga finished at 21st rank at the Men's 67 kg event. He won gold in the 2022 Commonwealth Games, in the 67 kg category, with a game record lift of 140 kg in snatch and 160 kg in clean and jerk.
Brooke McIntosh is a Canadian pair skater. With her skating partner, Benjamin Mimar, she is the 2022 NHK Trophy bronze medallist and 2023 Canadian national silver medallist.
Emma Spence is a Canadian artistic gymnast. She represented Canada at the 2022 World Championships and won a bronze in the team event, their first team medal. She won bronze with the team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Individually she is the 2018 Youth Olympic bronze medallist on vault as well as the 2022 Commonwealth Games all-around and balance beam bronze medalist.
Emma Wilson is a British windsurfer who won a bronze medal in the RS:X event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She won the RS:X events at the Youth Sailing World Championships in 2016 and 2017, and won medals at the 2018 and 2019 RS:X European Championships, and the 2022 and 2023 IQFoil European Championships.
Emma Nanny Charlotte Kullberg is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Brighton & Hove Albion of the English FA Women's Super League. She previously played for the Damallsvenskan team BK Häcken. Kullberg made her debut for the Sweden women's national football team in November 2019 and won a silver medal with the team at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Kawai also participated in the breaking mixed event, being awarded the gold medal with her teammate, Lê Minh Hiếu. She attended Kanagawa Prefectural Yurigaoka High School.
Breaking competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics are scheduled to run from 9 to 10 August at Place de la Concorde, marking the sport's official debut in the program and the first dancesport discipline to appear in Summer Olympic history. Following its successful debut at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, breaking is confirmed as one of the four additional sports, along with skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing approved for Paris 2024. The competition will witness a total of thirty-two breakdancers stage in face-to-face single battles.
