The Elle Style Awards are an awards ceremony hosted annually by Elle magazine.
The Florida Film Critics Circle (FFCC) is a film critic organization founded in 1996. The FFCC comprises 30 film critics from Florida-based print and online publications. At the end of each year, the FFCC members vote on the Florida Film Critics Circle Awards for outstanding achievements in films released that year. The organization also awards the Pauline Kael Breakout Award, named after film critic Pauline Kael, and the Golden Orange Award for Outstanding Contribution to Film. The FFCC membership includes film critics from Miami Herald, Miami New Times, Sun-Sentinel, Folio Weekly, Bloody Disgusting, WJNO Radio, WTVT, The Daytona Beach News-Journal, FlickDirect, and Tampa Bay Times.

During the ceremony, Empire presented Empire Awards in 11 categories as well as four honorary awards. Other changes include Best Film and Best British Film being renamed this year only to "Best Movie" and "Best British Movie" respectively. The honorary Lifetime Achievement Award was presented for the last time. English actor Bill Bailey hosted the show for the second time, having previously hosted the 9th ceremony held in 2004. The awards were sponsored by Sony Ericsson for the fourth consecutive year.

During the ceremony, Empire presented Empire Awards in 10 categories as well as four honorary awards. The honorary Outstanding Contribution to British Cinema award was first introduced this year. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the award ceremonies a special honorary award was presented, the Icon of the Decade award. The awards for Best British Actor, Best British Actress and Best British Director as well as the honorary Independent Spirit award were presented for the last time. This was the first year the Lifetime Achievement Award was not presented. The ceremony was televised in the United Kingdom by Channel 5 on 15 March. English television presenter and radio presenter Johnny Vaughan hosted the show for the first time. The awards were sponsored by Sony Ericsson for the third consecutive year.
The Erotixxx Award is a prize awarded in the adult film industry by German magazine eLine, which had been presented yearly from 2005 to 2009 as part of the Venus Berlin trade fair, an international trade festival of the erotic. They were the successors to the Venus Awards, which had been presented until 2004 and then resumed in 2010. Starting in 2010, the Erotixxx Award became a part of the erotic fair eroFame from Hannover and, since 2011, only awards innovative products, toys, and companies. During the Venus Berlin years, prizewinners had been chosen by a jury and by a ballot of webmasters or registered users of several German erotic websites. After that time, it switched to the editorial staff of eLine and EAN.
The UK Adult Film and Television Awards (UKAFTAs) were a short-lived annual awards ceremony for the adult industry in the United Kingdom, which ran for two years from 2006 to 2008. Redzone Pictures and adult video producer Phil Black organised the awards in an attempt to promote the adult film industry in the UK.

The Empire Award for Best Actor is an Empire Award presented annually by the British film magazine Empire to honor an actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role while working within the film industry. The Empire Award for Best Actor is one of five ongoing awards which were first introduced at the 1st Empire Awards ceremony in 1996 with Nigel Hawthorne receiving the award for his role in The Madness of King George. Winners are voted by the readers of Empire magazine.
The Glamour Awards is an annual set of awards hosted by Glamour magazine. Woman of the Year awards honour "extraordinary and inspirational" women from a variety of fields, including entertainment, business, sports, music, science, medicine, education and politics. Along with the annual Empire Awards that were presented by Empire magazine for best in acting, directing and film there have been honorary awards which weren't always presented on a consistent annual basis. As of the 19th Empire Awards three honorary awards are currently handed out: Empire Hero Award, Empire Inspiration Award and Icon Award.
The Empire Special Honorary Awards are honorary Empire Awards presented by the British film magazine Empire on special occasions such as an Empire anniversary milestone or a passing of an actor. The first special honorary award was the Icon of the Decade which was presented at the 10th Empire Awards ceremony in 2005 to director Quentin Tarantino. Actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Cruise are the most recent winners in this category, receiving the Action Hero of our Lifetime and Legend of our Lifetime awards, respectively, at the 19th Empire Awards ceremony in 2014. As of the 19th Empire Awards five such awards have been handed out.

The National Film Awards UK are presented in an annual award show hosted by the National Film Academy (NFA). As of 2015, it has taken place in Central London at the Porchester Hall. The 5th National Film Awards UK was held on 27 March 2019.
