Emrys Killebrew was created by writer Mark Waid and artist Ian Churchill in Deadpool: Sins of the Past #1 (August, 1994). [1]
Emrys Killebrew was a scientist employed by the Weapon X program, running a facility called the Workshop where he was given failed test subjects and permitted to do whatever experiments he wanted on them so long as they were eventually terminated. Killebrew hired Francis Freeman as an "enforcer" to keep the subjects under control, while he subjected them to horrific and unethical procedures. [2]
Ajax is later killed, but returns as a cyborg and battles Deadpool. Overcome with guilt, Killebrew sacrifices himself to help Deadpool stop Ajax. [2]
Killebrew had no special powers, but he was a brilliant scientist with degrees in genetic engineering and splicing.
