This new musical direction made her one of the most successful crossover artists of the 1970s and 80s. She is also noted for her floor-length hair.

Recording sessions took place at Radio Recorders in Hollywood on April 30 and May 3, 1957, with an additional session at the MGM Soundstage in Hollywood on May 9 for "Don't Leave Me Now". It peaked at #1 on the newly inaugurated Billboard EP chart where it remained at #1 for 28 weeks. The EP album was the best selling EP album of 1958 according to Billboard.
"Unexpected Song" is a 1984 song from the musical Song and Dance originally sung by Bernadette Peters. The music was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Don Black. A single was released by Sarah Brightman. Originally released by Marti Webb and Justin Hayward as a duet in 1981 the song had new lyrics penned for the original 1982 production of the show and was re-titled "When You Want to Fall in Love". The original lyrics were re-instated when the show was re-written for Brightman's run. It was later used in Lloyd Webber's and Black's reworking of the show, returning to the original album title of Tell Me on a Sunday. The single peaked at #76 on the UK Singles Chart.

Celine Dion Live 2017 was the twelfth concert tour by Canadian singer Celine Dion. It was organized to support Dion's 2016 French-language studio album, Encore un soir. In the anglophone shows Dion performed her single "How does a moment last forever" along with a few rare songs and fan favourites. With twenty five shows, it began in Copenhagen, Denmark on 15 June 2017 and concluded on 5 August 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.
