Brian Farrell is a Gaelic footballer from Nobber, County Meath, Ireland. He plays for the Meath county team and his local club Nobber. He first came to national attention when he was part of the Meath team that made it to the 2002 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship final but lost out to Derry having already been beaten by Longford in the Leinster Championship final. The following year, he was part of the Meath side that won the Leinster and All-Ireland Junior Football Championships. At club level, he has won County and Leinster Junior medals in 2002 and an All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship medal in 2003. In 2010, Farrell won a Meath Intermediate Football Championship medal.
Paul Barden is a former Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Longford county team from October 1998 until February 2015 when he announced his retirement. He was the longest serving inter-county player in the country until his retirement. He won an O'Byrne Cup medal with them in 2000, he also won 2 O'Byrne Shield medals in 2006 and 2007. He was also a member of the Ireland international rules football team in 2002 and 2006. He also won a Railway Cup with Leinster in 2001 and 2002. In 2011, he captained Longford to victory over Roscommon in the National Football League Div 4 final at Croke Park and in 2012, Longford were back at Croke Park, this time for the Division 3 final and again won beating Wexford with Barden once again captain.
Finbarr Cullen was a Gaelic footballer from County Offaly, Ireland. He played with the Offaly intercounty team from 1991 to 2000. He was captain of the Offaly team that won the Leinster Senior Football Championship in 1997 and the National Football League in 1998. He was also a noted hurler winning Leinster and All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championships in 1989.

In 2010, he was part of the DCU team that won the 2010 O'Byrne Cup beating Louth in the final and the Sigerson Cup beating UCC. In 2010 he was a member of the senior Roscommon team that won the Connacht Senior Football Championship by beating Sligo by one point.
Diarmaid Marsden is a retired Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Armagh county team and won an All-Ireland Senior Championship medal in 2002. He was also an All-Star. Marsden won two county titles with his club Clan na Gael and a Sigerson Cup medal with Queen's University Belfast.

Killoe Young Emmets is a Gaelic Football and Ladies' Gaelic football club based in Killoe, County Longford, Ireland. The club is also referred to by the Irish 'Emmet Óg' or by 'Killoe Emmet Óg'. Organised Gaelic Games in the Parish of Killoe can trace its origins back to 1889 with the foundation of the Killoe Erins Pride club. Following a long period of no competition in Longford during the 1890's and early 1900's, the GAA re-emerged in Killoe in late 1903 under the name Killoe Young Emmets and the club competed in Senior Football Championship in 1904, the first such championship held since 1891. Killoe Young Emmets has won 13 Longford Senior Football Championship titles and 1 Longford Senior Hurling Championship title and has thriving Underage and Ladies (Killoe) sections.
