Endi Demneri (born 31 July 1998) is an Albanian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Albania winner 2023 by previous winner Deta Kokomani. [1] [2] [3] [4] The finale of the national pageant was held on 1 June 2023 at The Palace of Congresses, Bulevardi Deshmoret Kombit in Tirana. [3] [5] [6] [7] She triumphed over 23 other contenders. The event was televised live on VisionPlus TV and was available for free international streaming at the URLs Vizionplus. [7]

In 2023 Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2021 by Deta Kokomani who went on to represent Albania at Miss Universe 2022. [5] Demneri’s coronation marks the start of her journey as Albania’s representative in the 72nd Miss Universe competition, which held in El Salvador. Demneri is the tenth contender on the show. Background

Early life

Demneri was born on 31 July 1998, in Tirana, the capital and largest city of Albania in a family of fashion designers and beauty queens. [6] [4] She has been modeling professionally since 2014 and was invited to the Milan Fashion Show in 2022. [2] [8] [6] Her aunt is a fashion designer who owns the beauty salon FRIDA and the wedding gown brand Frida Xhoi & Xhei. She speaks Albanian, English, Italian and Turkish. [6] [4] Her cousin Irsa Demneri was Miss Shqiperia 2007. [7] She graced the cover of the February 2018 edition of the Albanian magazine Bordo. In September 2022, Italian fashion designer Stefano Gabbana invited her to be part of a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show. [7]

In February 2023, she graced the runway at the Milano Fashion Week, captivating the audience with her presentation on the Frida Xhoi and Xhei Clothing Brand. [6]

Pageantry

Miss Universe 2023

On Thursday 1 June, [2] 2023, the reigning Queen, Deta Kokomani, Miss Universe Albania 2022, crowned her successor the winner against 23 contestants in which Demneri was elected as the new Miss Universe Albania 2023 in Pallati i Kongreseve (The Palace of Congresses), a convention center at Bulevardi Dëshmorët e Kombit in Tirana. [9] She represented Albania at the 72nd Miss Universe competition that was held in El Salvador on November 18, 2023. [1] [2] [9] Demneri is the 10th entry to the Class of Miss Universe 2023 and The First Albanian in the era of Dr. Anne JKN. [2]
