Julie Marie Tollefsen (born 14 May 1995) is a Norwegian fashion designer, makeup artist, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2023. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Tollefsen was born on 14 May 1995 in Oslo. She graduated at École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode (ESMOD) in Oslo in 2017. [5] In 2015 to 2016, she enrolled herself at School of Fashion Industry (SoFI) in Oslo. In 2019, she trained as a makeup artist for fashion and beauty at Imageakademiet in Oslo. Besides being a model, she was also a design assistant at ESP, a clothing manufacturer in Oslo, from August 2021 to November 2021. [5]
In March 2022, she joined a fashion retailer, Varner, in Asker, Norway, as a designer. [5]
On August 5, 2023, at 27, Tollefsen represented Oslo at Miss Norway 2023 and competed against 11 other finalists at the Design og arkitektur Norge (DOGA) in Oslo where she won the title. [6] [4]
Tollefsen represented Norway [1] at The 72nd Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel crowned her successor, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, at the end of Grand Finale. Tollefsen represented Norway at Miss Supranational 2025 pageant in Poland at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland, on 27 June 2025, where Miss Supranational 2024, Harashta Haifa Zahra crowned her successor, Eduarda Braum of Brazil, at the end of the event.
