Enumclaw School District No. 216 is a public school district located in southern King County, Washington, headquartered in Enumclaw.
The district's boundary includes all of Enumclaw, the vast majority of Black Diamond, [3] areas with Ravensdale postal addresses,[ citation needed ] and several unincorporated areas. [3]
The district is bordered by the Tahoma School District to the north and to its northwest sits the fourth most populous school district in Washington state, the Kent School District. To its west lies the Auburn School District and below it in the south is the White River School District, which is in Pierce County.
The Enumclaw School District has eight active schools in total, five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school.

Seattle Public Schools is the largest public school district in the state of Washington. The school district serves almost all of Seattle. Additionally it includes sections of Boulevard Park and Tukwila. As of the 2021-2022 academic year, 106 schools are operated by the district, which serve 51,650 students throughout the city.
The Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) was a standardized educational assessment system given as the primary assessment in the state of Washington from spring 1997 to summer 2009. The WASL was also used as a high school graduation examination beginning in the spring of 2006 and ending in 2009. It has been replaced by the High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE), the Measurements of Students Progress (MSP) for grades 3–8, and later the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC). The WASL assessment consisted of examinations over four subjects with four different types of questions. It was given to students from third through eighth grades and tenth grade. Third and sixth graders were tested in reading and math; fourth and seventh graders in math, reading and writing. Fifth and eighth graders were tested in reading, math and science. The high school assessment, given during a student's tenth grade year, contained all four subjects.

Lakewood School District, officially known as Lakewood School District 306, is a school district that serves the communities of Lake Goodwin, North Lakewood and Smokey Point in northern Snohomish County, Washington in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It consists of five schools, three of which are elementary schools and two are middle and high schools, respectively. The district was established in 1914 as consolidation of three earlier school districts in the region that were established as early as 1891. The majority of district facilities, including the main office, are located on a campus located south of Washington State Route 531 in North Lakewood. There are bus transportation services offered to schools part of the district in its 22.5-square-mile (58 km2) area, in addition to a family access program.
Washougal High School was founded in 1909, where it only had four students. The current campus was built in 1956 and remodeled in 2002. Known for its Fine Arts Programs, including the band program, culinary, woodworking and metalworking, and athletics. 1,010 students attend WHS as of the 2022-2023 school year.
Tahoma High School (THS) is a public high school serving grades nine through twelve, and is the only high school in the Tahoma School District. The school provides for citizens in southeast King County, and has been housed in multiple buildings, the current one being a three-story structure in Maple Valley built in 2017.
