Erfelek is a town in Sinop Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the seat of Erfelek District. [2] Its population is 4,041 (2022). [1] The mayor is Mehmet Uzun (AKP).

The Organization of Turkic States (OTS), formerly called the Turkic Council or the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, is an intergovernmental organization comprising prominent independent Turkic countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
