Early life

Whiteley was born on 20 July 1904, in Croydon.

Rugby union career

Whiteley made his international debut on 21 March 1931 at Murrayfield in the Scotland vs England match. Of the two matches he played for his national side, he was on the winning side on neither occasion. He played his final match for England on 6 April 1931 at Colombes in the France vs England match.

Viktor Kassai is a Hungarian football official and a former referee. He participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup and refereed the 2011 UEFA Champions League Final. He has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2003. He retired as a referee on 30 December 2019.

The 1982 Kangaroo tour was the fifteenth Kangaroo tour where the Australian national rugby league team played a number of matches against British and French rugby league teams, in addition to the Test matches.
