Erik Henriksen (born April 8, 1958) is an American speed skater. He competed at the 1984 Winter Olympics and the 1988 Winter Olympics. [1]

Lars Thomas Wassberg is a Swedish former cross-country skier. A fast skating style – push for every leg – is still called "Wassberg" after him in several countries. The 1936 Winter Olympics were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The games began on 6 February 1936, and ended on 16 February 1936. There were three cross-country skiing events held, in which only men competed. There were 109 male competitors from 22 different nations. The youngest participant was 17-year-old Resat Erces from Turkey, while the oldest participant was Nils Backstrom from the United States of America at 34 years old. The athletes whom collected the most medals were Oddbjørn Hagen of Norway, and Erik Larsson of Sweden – each received two medals. Sweden collected more medals than any other country in the cross-country skiing events at a total of five.

Alf Steen Andersen was a Norwegian ski jumper. He was born in Drammen, but represented the Oslo clubs Sandaker, Skeid and Lyn. He won the gold medal in the individual large hill at the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz. He also won a bronze medal in the individual large hill at the 1935 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Vysoké Tatry.

Erik August Larsson was a Swedish cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s. He won two medals at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a gold in the 18 km and a bronze in the 4 × 10 km relay. The same year he was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal. Larsson also won a bronze in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1935 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.

Per-Erik Hedlund was a Swedish cross-country skier. He competed in the 18 and 50 km events at the 1924 and 1928 Olympics and won the gold medal over 50 km in 1928, more than 13 minutes ahead of fellow Swede Gustaf Jonsson. While competing, he wore a show-white outfit, which was later considered as lucky, and was worn by Swedish Nordic skiers at every Winter Olympics for the next 48 years.

Erik Pausin was an Austrian pair skater. With his sister Ilse Pausin, he won the silver medal at the 1936 Winter Olympics at age 15, became one of the youngest male figure skating Olympic medalists. They won five consecutive silver medals (1935–1939) at the World Figure Skating Championships and three consecutive silver medals (1937–1939) at the European Figure Skating Championships. In 1939, they competed representing Nazi Germany, which swept the Worlds pairs podium that year.

Tage Henriksen was a Danish rower who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was born in Roskilde. In 1948 he was a crew member of the Danish boat which won the gold medal in the coxed pair event. He died in 2016.
