To convince him, the stepsiblings advertise the store wearing embarrassing costumes, but when Aaron trips and destroys some instruments, Ledder bans them both. While their friends, Vivian and Hunter distract the security, Erin and Aaron perform a song that convinces Ledder they are true musicians. He allows them to buy the piano.
