Animorphs (also known under the promotional title AniTV) is a television adaptation made by Protocol Entertainment based on the Scholastic book series of the same name by K. A. Applegate. It was made for YTV for Season 1 and Global for Season 2 in Canada and Nickelodeon for the United States. The series was broadcast from September 15, 1998 to October 8, 1999 in the United States and Canada.

Tobias follows the trail of hawk images being left around town, but is shocked by what he finds. Meanwhile, when Marco notices a suspicious looking construction worker hanging around school, he investigates and discovers that friends and the rest of their classmates are in huge danger. Before he can tell anyone, however, Marco finds himself trapped, unbeknownst to his friends, who are now arriving at the dance. This episode is not based on any book in particular, but contains plot lines from The Pretender (Tobias finding out his parentage) and The Sickness (Animorphs attending a dance and Ax being unfamiliar with human culture). This episode, and its predecessors of the same name, are narrated by Tobias.

Home releases

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (when they were known as Columbia TriStar Home Video) had released twelve episodes in four VHS volumes known as The Invasion Series, collecting episodes from the series. The first 12 episodes are only released on VHS and not re-released on DVD.

Seven volumes spanning the first 20 episodes (only the first of which was identical to its U.S. counterpart) were released in Australia. The episodes were placed in chronological order. Each volume had three episodes apart from Volume 7, which had two ("Face Off", parts 1 and 2).

All 26 episodes are currently available on iTunes, Vudu and Amazon Video spread across three volumes. Also, all 26 episodes were previously available on Netflix, and are currently available on Tubi.

The English language translation was published by Dark Horse Comics, but was discontinued after eight volumes in 2004.

<i>So Little Time</i> American television series

So Little Time is an American sitcom starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in their third television series. It aired on Fox Family: the first half of the series aired from June 2 to August 18, 2001, and the series then went on a four-month hiatus owing to network management changes. By December 2001, Fox Family had become ABC Family, and the remaining episodes aired from December 1, 2001, until May 4, 2002. So Little Time reruns briefly aired on Nickelodeon in 2015 after the network acquired the rights to Mary-Kate and Ashley's video library.

The Animorphs Chronicles is a series of 4 books written by K. A. Applegate alongside the main series as a companion collection to detail the backstories of characters introduced in the series, and help explain and expand upon concepts that were briefly defined in the series, but, as the series is told from a human point of view, were limited in terms of what could only be explained through in-story dialogue. Four Chronicles books were published; The Andalite Chronicles in 1997, The Hork-Bajir Chronicles in 1998, Visser in 1999, and The Ellimist Chronicles in 2000. The Chronicles books are unique amongst the Animorphs continuity in that they are told from previously largely unfamiliar aliens' perspectives, and not from one of the 5 main human points of view, bar the beginning and end of The Hork-Bajir Chronicles, which are narrated by Tobias.
