Ernest Maduabuchi Udeh Jr. (born January 8, 2004) is an American college basketball player for the TCU Horned Frogs of the Big 12 Conference. He previously played for the Kansas Jayhawks.
Udeh grew up in Orlando, Florida and attended Dr. Phillips High School. [1] He averaged 10.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game as a junior as Dr. Phillips won the Class 7A state championship. [2] Udeh averaged 13.1 points and 9.2 rebounds per game during his senior season. [3] He played in the 2022 McDonald's All-American Boys Game. [4]
Udeh was considered a five-star recruit by ESPN and a four-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals. On October 20, 2021, he committed to playing college basketball for Kansas over offers from UCLA, Alabama, Arkansas, and Baylor. [5] [6]

Udeh enrolled at Kansas shortly after graduating high school and took part in the Jayhawks' summer practices. [7] He made his college debut in Kansas's season opener against Omaha and scored five points with five rebounds and one block in over 14 minutes. [8]
On May 31, 2023, Udeh committed to TCU. [9]

Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, formerly known as Daniel–Meyer Coliseum, is a basketball arena located on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The arena is part of the Daniel-Meyer Athletics Complex and sits between Amon G. Carter Stadium and Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. The arena is home to the TCU Horned Frogs Men's and Women's basketball teams. It was built in 1961 and originally named after former TCU football and basketball coach Dutch Meyer and former TCU board member Milton Daniel. As part of the 2015 renovation, the facility was renamed for lead donors Ed & Rae Schollmaier. The facility currently seats 6,800 people.
The TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represents Texas Christian University, located in Fort Worth, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. Since 2016, the Horned Frogs have been led by TCU Lettermen's Hall of Fame member, head coach Jamie Dixon. TCU has competed in the Big 12 Conference since 2012, and previously competed in the Mountain West Conference (2005–2012), Conference USA (2001–2005), Western Athletic Conference (1996–2001) and Southwest Conference (1923–1996). The Horned Frogs play their home games on campus at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, formerly known as Daniel–Meyer Coliseum, which reopened in December 2015 after a $72 million renovation.

The 2023–24 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represents the University of Kansas in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which is the Jayhawks' 126th basketball season. The Jayhawks, members of the Big 12 Conference, play their home games at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. They are led by 21st year Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks underwent higher than normal turnover with nine players leaving the team, including consensus All-American Jalen Wilson. Only three players from the previous season that averaged more than 10 minutes per game will return for Kansas as well as only 3 scholarship players. The Jayhawks entire 2022 recruiting class left the program in some way in the offseason. Despite the unusually large turnover on the roster, Kansas entered the season ranked first in the preseason AP poll for the fourth time in the history of the poll and the first time since the 2018–19 season. If the Jayhawks win 6 more games than Kentucky during the season, they will regain being the winningest Division I Men's Basketball program in the country. They had held the title since the 2022 NCAA Tournament, but lost it after having 15 wins vacated by the NCAA in the offseason.
