Esports for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium. [1] It took place from 29 June to 2 July 2013. [2] Six video games were chosen to be part of this Indoor and Martial Arts Games, FIFA 13, Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, League of Legends and Special Force. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is a governing body of sports in Asia, currently with 45 member National Olympic Committees. Talal Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was elected as President of the OCA on 8 July 2023. However, on 30 July 2023, the International Olympic Committee asked Randhir Singh, who was the acting president at the time, to continue as the Acting President of the OCA while the IOC investigated the OCA presidential election of 2023. The 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, officially 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games and also known as Incheon 2013, was a pan-continental event held in Incheon, South Korea from 29 June to 6 July 2013 that served as a dress-rehearsal for the upcoming 2014 Asian Games, which was also held in the same city. It was the first event to be held under the "Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games" name following the merger of two OCA events – Asian Indoor Games and Asian Martial Arts Games, inherited the edition numeral of the former. Doha, Qatar was initially scheduled to host the 4th Asian Indoor Games in 2011, but withdrawn in June 2008 due to "unforeseen circumstances", with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) chose Incheon instead as a replacement and postponed the games to 2013.

The 2013–14 snooker season was a series of snooker tournaments played between 6 June 2013 and 5 May 2014. From this season every qualifying match was held open to the public at various venues in the United Kingdom, replacing the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield. The number of wild-card players at the Chinese ranking events, except the Shanghai Masters, was reduced from eight to four and former Main Tour players were excluded. Cue sports for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Songdo Convensia in Incheon, South Korea. It took place from 29 June to 6 July 2013. This was the third time this sport was part of the Games, after Macau 2007 and Hanoi 2009.

Dancesport for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Incheon Samsan World Gymnasium. It took place on the 4 and 5 July 2013.

Go, known as baduk (바둑) in Korea, for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, was held at the Yonsei Global University Campus. It took place from 30 June to 5 July 2013. It was also this event's debut at these Games. Before that Go was part of the 2010 Asian Games at Guangzhou.

Indoor Kabaddi for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Ansan Sangnoksu Gymnasium. It took place from 29 June to 3 July 2013. Women's indoor kabaddi teams made their debut in these Games, as only the men's teams were allowed to compete for medals at both Macau 2007 and Hanoi 2009 previously.

Kickboxing for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Dowon Gymnasium, Incheon, South Korea. It took place from 3 to 6 July 2013. Previously, in 2009, this sport was contested at both Hanoi and Bangkok separately.

Kurash for the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held at the Ansan Sangnoksu Gymnasium. It took place from 4 to 6 July 2013. In the past, this sport was a demonstration one for Macau 2007. Like the sport of indoor kabaddi, Kurash was contested in both Hanoi and Bangkok separately in 2009 for medals.

Muaythai at the 2013 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games was held in Incheon, South Korea at the Dowon Gymnasium. It took place from 29 June to 2 July 2013.
