Ester Valerie Noronha is an Indian actress who appears in Telugu and Kannada films. Her notable works include Bhimavaram Bullodu , Shakeela, Lanke, Sophiya, and the TV show Recce.

Early and personal life

Ester Noronha was born to Valerian Noronha and Janet Noronha in Bahrain. She debuted on the Konkani stage as "Baby Ester" at the age of 8.

Noronha married singer and rapper Noel Sean in January 2019 after being engaged for a year. [3] [1] On 31 October 2020, they made it public on social media that they had been officially divorced after being separated for a year. [2]

Career

Noronha debuted in a non-commercial Bollywood film "Baromas". The film went on to be played and nominated in various film festivals around the world including the 2012 South Asian International Film Festival in New York and the DCIFF (DC Independent Film Festival) in Washington, DC.

She was cast by director Teja in his Telugu film 1000 Abaddalu (2013). Noronha was immediately signed for Bhimavaram Bullodu opposite Sunil.

In 2017, Noronha made her debut on the Konkani tiatr stage as a singer in the play Goy, Goykar, Goykarponn (Goa, Goan, Goaness) by Mariano Fernandes. In June 2023, she made her acting debut in Mhoji Khori Maim (My Real Mother) by Comedian Brian. [4]

The film is about life in Goa, and finding purpose in life. After the award-winning Soul Curry, it is Malkar and Jackie's second Konkani film. The musical film features Lorna singing some jazz songs. It premiered at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on 28 January 2019.
