Esto Es Lo Que Soy (English: This Is What I Am) is the first extended play (EP) released by Jesse & Joy. It was launched in early 2008, and it contains all of their singles from Esta Es Mi Vida , excepting for "Somos lo Que Fue". It also contains a self-titled song, which served as the theme song for the Mexican soap opera Las Tontas No Van al Cielo .

Los Chichos is a Spanish band that was formed in the mid-1970s by singer-songwriter Juan Antonio Jiménez and brothers Julio and Emilio González. The band reached its peak popularity in the 1980s and restructured in 1990 when Jiménez began his solo career. Viviendo Deprisa is the second studio album recorded by Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. It was released by WEA Latina on 20 August 1991. With this album he was announced to national level, all the tracks were composed by Sanz but were credited to A. Medina pseudonymous that Sanz used initially in his career. The official singles of the album were "Los Dos Cogidos de la Mano" and "Pisando Fuerte", which were a boom in the musical Spanish panorama, other songs that received radio airplay were "Se Le Apagó la Luz" and "Lo Que Fui Es lo Que Soy". He shot videos for the songs "Los Dos Cogidos de la Mano" and "Pisando Fuerte".

Esta Es Mi Vida is the debut album by duo Jesse & Joy, consisting of siblings Jesse and Joy Huerta. The album was released by Warner Music Mexico on August 22, 2006. The album debuted at number 22 on Mexican Top 100 Album Chart and peaked at number 7. The Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas (AMPROFON) certified the album as Platinum for selling more than 100,000 copies in Mexico. They promoted their album in Puerto Rico, Spain and Latin America.

"Hasta Que Te Conocí" is a song by Mexican singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel. It was released in 1986 as the third single from his studio album Pensamientos. Written and produced by Gabriel, the song's lyrics focus on a protagonist learning the meaning of suffering after meeting a lover who mistreats him. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot Latin Song chart. A live version of the song was included on his album En el Palacio de Bellas Artes (1990) which peaked at number ten on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
The 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the fifth time the awards was held at this venue and in Las Vegas. It also marks the last year in the Latin Recording Academy's contract where the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosted. It is unknown if the awards will continue to be held at this location beyond 2012.

Canciones Para Un Paraíso En Vivo is the fourth live album by Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz. It was recorded in Madrid on July 5, 2010. The album, released in digipack format, contains a CD with a selection of 10 tracks of the concert with one bonus track and a DVD with all 17 live performance. Sanz performed some of his old classic songs like "No Es Lo Mismo", "Corazón Partío" along with a medley and the entire Paraíso Express album except "Pero Esta Tarde No Te Vas" and "Tú No Tienes La Culpa". It also include a duet with Spanish singer-songwriter Joaquín Sabina on Sanz's latest single, "Lola Soledad", as a bonus track.

The Plaza de toros El Progreso disaster was a crowd collision tragedy that occurred about 8:30 p.m. on 31 January 1965 when in the tunnel and crew ramp of the venue, through which the people who had enjoyed the evening show of Mexican popular music were coming out and at the same time the public who would attend the night show were trying to enter.
