The Steve Miller Band is an American rock band formed in 1966 in San Francisco, California. The band is led by Steve Miller on guitar and lead vocals. The group had a string of mid- to late-1970s hit singles that are staples of classic rock, as well as several earlier psychedelic rock albums. Miller left his first band to move to San Francisco and form the Steve Miller Blues Band. Shortly after Harvey Kornspan negotiated the band's contract with Capitol Records in 1967, the band shortened its name to the Steve Miller Band. In February 1968, the band recorded its debut album, Children of the Future. It went on to produce the albums Sailor, Brave New World, Your Saving Grace, Number 5, Rock Love, Fly Like an Eagle, Book of Dreams, among others. The band's Greatest Hits 1974–78, released in 1978, sold over 13 million copies. In 2016, Steve Miller was inducted as a solo artist in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This is also the last album to feature Evan White before his departure from the band shortly after the album's release. Two of the band's signature songs, "94 Hours" and "Forever", appear on the album.

Shadows Are Security is the third studio album by American metalcore band As I Lay Dying. The album was released on June 14, 2005 through Metal Blade Records, and was produced by Tim Lambesis, the band's vocalist, and Phil Sgrosso, one of the band's guitarists, along with Steve Russell. A Limited Edition was released on June 23, 2005 with a bonus DVD of a show filmed at the Substage Club in Karlsruhe, Germany on November 28, 2004. The CD was released again as a Special Edition on October 17, 2006 with a DVD on the making of the album and included videos of "Confined", "Through Struggle", and "The Darkest Nights". It also featured additional liner notes from vocalist Tim Lambesis on the concept of the record and little known facts on the making of the album.
As I Lay Dying/American Tragedy is a split album by the two metalcore bands As I Lay Dying and American Tragedy released in 2002 through Pluto Records. As I Lay Dying has since re-released its half of the album through Metal Blade Records. Their compilation album A Long March: The First Recordings also features the original and re-recorded tracks from the split album. Tracks 1 through 5 are performed by As I Lay Dying, while tracks 6 through 11 are performed by the now defunct American Tragedy.

The Powerless Rise debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 38,000. The album features three singles: "Beyond Our Suffering", "Parallels", and "Anodyne Sea". Music videos have been released for all three, with the latest one consisting of live footage. The album title is taken from their lyric of the song.

The album was produced by Bill Stevenson and recorded at The Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado and Lambesis Studios in San Diego, California. On June 22, 2012, the album title, release date, and first single were announced. On June 25, the first single "Cauterize" was released for free download and became available online for purchase the following day. On June 27, a lyric video for "Cauterize" was released along with album artwork, also the band created an event on Facebook inviting fans to participate in a music video shoot for "A Greater Foundation". Fans were able to pre-order a copy on the Rockstar Mayhem Festival tour of 2012.

Alpha is the eighth studio album by American Christian metal band War of Ages. It was released on December 8th, 2017, and was produced by Jason Suecof. It is the first release by the band to not include drummer Alex Hamp, as he had left the group and was replaced by Alex Rüdinger as session drummer. The album displays more of a progressive metal influence than previous releases.
