The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Following his retirement, he had a brief spell in America with the Hartford Bicentennials in 1975, and later also had a successful career as a football commentator in the 90s.

Born in Monza and competing out of Pro Lissone, he was an Italian national champion prior to the Games and later, until his 1978 retirement, worked as a gymnastics coach with Pro Lissone. He turned 100 in April 2013 and died in Sesto San Giovanni in October 2013.
