The European University of Rome (UER) is a Rome university, located at Via degli Aldobrandeschi 190. It began its activities in 2005. [1] It is oriented towards teaching the humanities, in particular: psychology, economics, law, education, and management.
The European University of Rome was founded by the religious congregation of the Legionaries of Christ. It is part of an international network of universities with locations in Italy, Chile, Mexico and Spain.
The university is organized as a single humanities department. [2]
UER academy was established in 2019 as a school dedicated to professional and continuing education activities for skills development. [3]
The university's library, dedicated to Pius XII, holds documents, publications, databases and electronic resources pertaining to the disciplines taught at the European University of Rome and the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and houses collections, including the library holdings of the Alcide De Gasperi Foundation. On October 17, 2019, the UER university residence hall was inaugurated. [5]

Since 2019, the university has its own sports group called Panthers. The activities in which it participates are: 8-a-side soccer, futsal, basketball, volleyball, rugby, padel, tennis, track and field, and chess. [7] In the academic year 2022–2023, the 8-a-side soccer team is the first university team to participate in the Rome City 8-a-side Football League. The other disciplines, however, participate in the Rome University Championships.

The Accademia Carrara,, officially Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti di Bergamo, is an art gallery and an academy of fine arts in Bergamo, in Lombardy in northern Italy. The art gallery was established in about 1780 by Giacomo Carrara, a Bergamasco collector or conoscitore of the arts. The academy of fine arts was added to it in 1794. The Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, also known as the Accademia di Brera or Brera Academy, is a state-run tertiary public academy of fine arts in Milan, Italy. It shares its history, and its main building, with the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan's main public museum for art. In 2010 an agreement was signed to move the accademia to a former military barracks, the Caserma Magenta in via Mascheroni. In 2018 it was announced that Caserma Magenta was no longer a viable option, with the former railway yard in Via Farini now under consideration as a potential venue for the campus extension.
