Eva Irgl (born 9 December 1976) is a Slovenian politician and former TV host, currently serving as member of the Slovenian National Assembly. [1]
Eva Irgl was born in Šempeter near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia, then part of former Yugoslavia. She was the daughter of an elementary schoolmaster. She spent her childhood in Vipava, Slovenia. She finished the grammar school in Ajdovščina and studied theology at the University of Ljubljana. During her studies, she had passed an audition for the Slovenian national television. She had hosted a TV show for three years and assisted in a morning programme. She also wrote columns for the Mag magazine, which had at the time a right of centre editorial policy.
In the 2004 parliamentary elections, she was elected to the Slovenian National Assembly on the list of the Slovenian Democratic Party. She was re-elected in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2018 and 2022

A national human rights institution (NHRI) is an independent state-based institution with the responsibility to broadly protect and promote human rights in a given country. The growth of such bodies has been encouraged by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), which has provided advisory and support services, and facilitated access for NHRIs to the United Nations (UN) treaty bodies and other committees. There are over one hundred such institutions, about two-thirds assessed by peer review as compliant with the United Nations standards set out in the Paris Principles. Compliance with the Principles is the basis for accreditation at the UN, which, uniquely for NHRIs, is not conducted directly by a UN body but by a sub-committee of the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) called the Sub-Committee on Accreditation. The secretariat to the review process is provided by the National Institutions and Regional Mechanisms Section of the OHCHR.

Council for Canadians with Disabilities (CCD), formerly known as the Coalition of Provincial Organizations of the Handicapped (COPOH), was created by people with disabilities in 1976 to provide support for all people with disabilities who seek the opportunity to go to school, work, volunteer, have a family, and participate in recreational, sport and cultural activities. The CCD is a national human rights organization of people with disabilities working for an accessible and inclusive Canada. In the 1970s, the CCD became a permanent part of the disability rights movement and it became a fluid entity that includes people with a range of different disabilities. To manage the work that will lead to the achievement of this goal, CCD established the following Committees to guide their activities in key areas:

The term 'political participation' has a very wide meaning. 15th Government of Slovenia was formed by Robert Golob following the 2022 Slovenian parliamentary election. Robert Golob, leader of the Freedom Movement, was nominated as Prime Minister, and was approved as such on 25 May. The government will have the largest number of ministries after the 1st Government of Slovenia.
