Evan Lewis Press (born 26 June 2000) is a Welsh former footballer who played as a midfielder for Newport County and Barry Town United, before being jailed for drug dealing.
Press came through the Newport County youth team and made his first team debut on 7 November 2017, in a 2–1 defeat to Cheltenham Town in an EFL Trophy group stage match at Rodney Parade. [3] He was released at the end of the 2017–18 season and joined Barry Town United. [4]
In March 2025, Press was jailed for two-and-a-half years for dealing cocaine between February 2021 and November 2023. [5]
