Evangelical Christian School (ECS) is a private, college preparatory, non-denominational Christian school in Fort Myers, Florida.

History

ECS was founded in May 1973 by Douglas D. and Elsie M. Dunn. In 1975 the school was moved to its present site. Over the years, the enrollment has grown to exceed 1,000 students and several new buildings have been added.

Tommy Pearce Bowden is a former American football coach. He served as the head coach at Clemson University from 1999 until October 13, 2008. He is a son of Bobby Bowden, former head football coach of Florida State University, against whom he coached in games nicknamed the "Bowden Bowl." He is also a brother of Terry Bowden, who served as the head coach of Auburn.

Mariner High School is located in Cape Coral, Florida in the Lee County School District and is home to the Fightin' Tritons. The school is located at 701 Chiquita Boulevard North and serves students from Cape Coral, the neighboring villages on Pine Island, and North Fort Myers. The school opened 36 years ago for the 1987–1988 school year at its current location, and its enrollment in May 2014 was 1,485 students.
