The former Leota School for Girls, also known as the Bones School, is a historic Victorian architecture residential building completed in 1910 in Evansville, Wisconsin at 443 South First Street. It was originally constructed as a home for Vivas C. and Phila Holmes, owners of the Evansville Mercantile Association. The home was sold in 1934 to William and Jenny Bone who opened the school. They also operated the Leota Camp based at the home. The school closed in 1959.
Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church (MPLC), also known as Mount Pleasant Church, is an architecturally and historically significant church in Racine, Wisconsin. It was designed by Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin-based architect Helmut Ajango with Gene LaMuro. Nicknamed the Spaceship Church, it is located at 1700 South Green Bay Road and was built in 1975. It is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Signature School is a charter high school located in downtown Evansville, Indiana on the Main Street walkway. The school opened in 2002 as Indiana's first public charter high school. It has been consistently ranked, by a number of publications, as one of the top high schools in the United States.
