Taipei 101, formerly known as the Taipei World Financial Center, is a skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan. It is owned by Taipei Financial Center Corporation. The building was officially classified as the world's tallest from its opening on 31 December 2004. However, the Burj Khalifa surpassed Taipei 101 in 2010. Upon completion, it became the world's first skyscraper to exceed a height of half a kilometer. As of 2023, Taipei 101 is the tallest building in Taiwan and the eleventh tallest building in the world.
The Shanghai World Financial Center is a supertall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Mori Building Company, with Leslie E. Robertson Associates as its structural engineer and China State Construction Engineering Corp and Shanghai Construction (Group) General Co. as its main contractor. It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and ground-floor shopping malls. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the tower's hotel component, comprising 174 rooms and suites occupying the 79th to the 93rd floors, which at the time of completion was the highest hotel in the world. It is now the third-highest hotel in the world after the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, which occupies floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre.

Shanghai Tower is a 128-story, 632-meter-tall (2,073 ft) megatall skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai. It is the tallest building in China and the world's third-tallest building by height to architectural top. It is the tallest and largest LEED Platinum certified building in the world since 2015. It shares the record of having the world's highest observation deck within a building or structure at 562 m. It had the world's second-fastest elevators at a top speed of 20.5 meters per second until 2017, when it was surpassed by the Guangzhou CTF Finance Center, with its top speed of 21 meters per second. Designed by international design firm Gensler and owned by the Shanghai Municipal Government, it is the tallest of the world's first triple-adjacent supertall buildings in Pudong, the other two being the Jin Mao Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Center. Its tiered construction, designed for high energy efficiency, provides nine separate zones divided between office, retail and leisure use.

Goldin Finance 117, also known as China 117 Tower, is an unfinished skyscraper in Xiqing District, Tianjin, China. The tower was topped out in 2015 at a height of 597 m. It has 128 storeys above ground, with 117 of them housing, hotel, and commercial space, which provides the source of the building’s name. Construction began in 2008 but was twice halted. As of April 2024, it remains unfinished and unoccupied.
The Ping An Finance Center is a 115-storey, 599.1 m (1,966 ft) supertall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The building was commissioned by Ping An Insurance and designed by the American architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. It was completed in 2017, and is the tallest building in Shenzhen, the 2nd tallest building in China and the 5th tallest building in the world. It also broke the record of having the highest observation deck in a building at 562 m (1,844 ft). It is the second largest skyscraper in the world by floor area after Azabudai Hills Main Tower in Tokyo, Japan.
Yingli Tower, also known as Ying Li International Financial Centre is a skyscraper in the Jiefangbei CBD area of Chongqing, China. Its construction started in 2009 and was completed in 2012. It is an office building with a retail podium. In 2012 Yingli Tower eclipsed the Chongqing World Trade Center to become the tallest building in Western China, although this title was short lived since Chongqing Poly Tower received the title later in the year.
CITIC Tower is a supertall skyscraper in the Central Business District of Beijing, China. The 109-story, 528 m (1,732 ft) building constructed by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau is the tallest in the city, surpassing the China World Trade Center Tower III by 190 m (620 ft). On 18 August 2016, CITIC Tower surpassed China World Trade Center Tower III in height, becoming Beijing's tallest building. The tower structurally topped out on 9 July 2017, fully topped out on 18 August 2017, and was completed in late 2018, making CITIC Tower the tallest completed building of 2018. As of 2024, it is the tallest building with a rooftop helipad in the world.
The International Land-Sea Center is a 98 storey, 458.2 m (1,503 ft) tall mixed use skyscraper under construction in Chongqing, China. The tower is the main building for the Chongqing International Trade and Commerce Center, an 11 tower development that is the centerpiece of the 3.6 million-square-meter Chongqing Tian Di Master Plan, a major redevelopment of a downtown core area in Chongqing. The tower's design is inspired by the sailing ships that once crowded the waters of the surrounding Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. Upon completion it will become the tallest building in Chongqing, and one of the tallest buildings in China.
Shum Yip Upperhills Tower 1 is a supertall skyscraper completed in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It stand at 388.1 metres (1,273.3 ft) tall. Construction started on 12 February 2014 and was completed in 2020.
Shandong IFC is a supertall skyscraper under construction in The Jinan Central Business District, Jinan, Shandong, China. The tower will be 428 metres (1,404.2 ft) tall and will become the tallest building in the Shandong Province. As of March 2021, the tower is already over 339 metres (1,112 ft) tall making it the tallest building in Jinan surpassing the 333-metre (1,093 ft) tall Jinan Center Financial City A5-3, the city's current tallest.
