The band was created after the band Sinker broke up, and consisted of twin brothers Adam and Seth Nanaa, Marc Bianchi, and Eyad Kaileh, who replaced Dan Bradley early on due to commitment issues. They named their band after a Doors song from the 1970 album Morrison Hotel.
Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band composed of Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace that formed in New York City in 1993. Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Formed in 2005, the band was a result of a merger between two local Tallahassee bands, Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Having been signed to Fearless Records since 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Metro Station was an American pop rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California by singer Mason Musso and bassist/guitarist Trace Cyrus. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records. The band is best known for the commercially successful hit single "Shake It" from the group's self-titled debut album. In 2010, tension between Cyrus and Musso caused the band to go on hiatus. In 2011, the band returned, however, it was announced that Cyrus was no longer a part of the group and Musso had purchased the rights to the name.

Midwest emo refers to the emo scene and/or subgenre that developed in the 1990s Midwestern United States. Employing unconventional vocal stylings, distinct guitar riffs and arpeggiated melodies. Midwest emo bands shifted away from the genre's hardcore punk roots and drew on indie rock and math rock approaches. According to the author and critic Andy Greenwald, "this was the period when emo earned many, if not all, of the stereotypes that have lasted to this day: boy-driven, glasses-wearing, overly sensitive, overly brainy, chiming-guitar-driven college music." Midwest emo is sometimes used interchangeably with second-wave emo. Although implied by the name, Midwest emo does not solely refer to bands and artists from the Midwestern United States, and the style is played by outfits across the United States and internationally.

Indian Summer is the self-titled debut EP by American emo band Indian Summer. It was released in 1993 through Repercussion Recordings. After brothers Adam and Seth Nanaa's band Sinker dissolved, they started a new band and recorded songs for their EP at Bart Thurber's recording studio. The EP is an emo and post-hardcore release, containing three songs with a rhythmic structure that alternates from quiet spoken-word vocals to a loud sound.
Everyone Asked About You is the self-titled debut extended play by the American emo band Everyone Asked About You. It was released in 1997 through Landmark Records. The EP is an emo release, consisting of four tracks with a mixture of twee pop vocals by Hannah Vogan and Chris Sheppard.
"We're All Losing It" is a song by American emo band Everyone Asked About You. The song was written during the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. It was later recorded in the same week at Fellowship Hall Sound in Little Rock, Arkansas. The song was the first song released by the band in 25 years since the band's last music was recorded in 1999 and their disbandment in 2000.
Never Leave is the upcoming fourth EP by American emo band Everyone Asked About You. It is set for release on August 5, 2024, by the Numero Group, and is the group's first new music in 25 years.
