Ewa Lewandowska (born 4 September 1961) is a Polish rower. She competed in the women's eight event at the 1980 Summer Olympics. [1]

The women's 4 × 100 metres relay was the only women's relay on the Athletics at the 1964 Summer Olympics program in Tokyo. It was held on 20 October and 21 October 1964. 15 teams, for a total of 60 athletes, from 15 nations competed. The first round was held on 20 October with the final on 21 October. The world record time of the Polish team was erased in 1969, after Ewa Klobukowska failed a gendertest in Kyiv, but their gold medal result was allowed to stand.

Ewa Janina Kłobukowska is a Polish former sprinter. She competed at the 1964 Olympics in the 4×100 m relay and 100 m sprint and won a gold and a bronze medal, respectively. She also won two gold and one silver medal at the 1966 European Athletics Championships. Kłobukowska set three world records, one in the 100 m and two in the 4×100 m relay. Kłobukowska was at one point considered to be the fastest woman in the world. The American Press made a statement, saying that nobody would beat Kłobukowska for the next 7-8 years following a race in Prague. Despite these successes and laurels, her records were annulled by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) after a gender identification test in 1967 wrongly labeled her as not female. The test procedures were later found to be inadequate.

Halina Sylwia Górecka is a retired Polish and German sprinter. At the Summer Olympics she competed for Poland in 1956, 1960 and 1964 and for West Germany in 1968. She won a bronze and a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m relay in 1960 and 1964, respectively. The Polish team set a world record in the 1964 final, but it was annulled after one teammate, Ewa Kłobukowska, failed a gender test in 1967.

The women's javelin throw field event at the 1972 Olympic Games took place on August 31 & September 1. On 11 June 1972 Ewa Gryziecka from Poland broke the javelin throw world record with a throw of 62.70m only to have Ruth Fuchs break that record on the same day with a throw of 65.06m. In 1972 Fuchs was the strong favorite heading in the Olympics. Kate Schmidt took the early lead on the first throw, but this was soon passed by the favorite on the second throw. She ended up topping her own mark two more time in rounds four and five. Fuchs would go one and set the new javelin world record in 1973, 1974 and 1976.

Ewa Dederko is a triathlete from Poland, who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Dederko placed thirtieth in the women's triathlon with a time of 2:05:09.

She competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics and the 1960 Winter Olympics. At the 1956 Games she finished in 24th place in the 10 km, whilst at the 1960 Games she finished 21st in the 10 km and, alongside Stefania Biegun and Józefa Czerniawska-Pęksa, was part of the Polish team that finished fourth in the 3 x 5 km relay.

Maria Gąsienica Daniel-Szatkowska was a Polish alpine skier. She competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics and the 1964 Winter Olympics. She was the sister of fellow Olympians Helena Gąsienica Daniel, Andrzej Gąsienica Daniel and Józef Gąsienica Daniel, as well as fellow competitive skier Franciszek Gąsienica Daniel.
