Bustin' Out of L Seven is Rick James' second studio album on Motown sub-label Gordy Records. Included on the album is the top ten R&B hit, "Bustin' Out ". L7 is slang for "square", as in the opening lyrics of "Bustin' Out ", "Well, alright, you squares, it's time you smoked, Fire up this funk and let's have a toke". The letter L and the number 7 form a square.

The Lost Episodes is a 1996 posthumous album by Frank Zappa which compiles previously unreleased material. Much of the material covered dates from early in his career, and as early as 1958, into the mid-1970s. Zappa had been working on these tracks in the years before his death in 1993.

Man Alive! is the 8th studio album by Stephen Stills, released in 2005. It is a mixture of old and new recordings. Some were dated in the notes of the box set Carry On as follows: "Ain't It Always" in December 1976, "Spanish Suite" in April 1979, "Feed the People" in 1989 but with everything but the backing vocals replaced later, and "I Don't Get It" in 1991. Zimmer's biography of Crosby, Stills & Nash places "Acadienne" with songs for the CSNY Looking Forward album, and based on the personnel it is from April 1998. Dates of the others are simply not known. Stills introduced "Heart's Gate" as a new song in concert in 2003. "Drivin' Thunder" appeared the CSNY album American Dream in 1988, but Stills wrote new lyrics for the version on this album. Graham Nash sings on "Wounded World", which he co-wrote, and "Acadienne" and "Feed the People". Neil Young plays on "Different Man" and "Round the Bend". Herbie Hancock plays on "Spanish Suite". Some of these tracks were originally planned for his unreleased 1979 album. Stills drew the back and front cover.
Live Evolution is the title of a 2001 live album and a DVD released by the American progressive metal band Queensrÿche. It was recorded over two nights at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington. On the CD the tracks were collected in suites, which represent different moments of the band production and include a large section of the concept album Operation: Mindcrime. The DVD contains footage shot at the same concerts and features less songs listed in the order they were played during the shows.

Everything's Gonna Be Alright is the second studio album by American country music artist Deana Carter. Released in 1998 as her second and final studio album for Capitol Records Nashville, it features the single "Absence of the Heart", a number 16 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts in late 1998. "You Still Shake Me" and "Angels Working Overtime" were released as the second and third singles, and peaked at numbers 36 and 35, respectively. "Ruby Brown" failed to chart in the U.S., but managed to reach number 74 on the country charts in Canada.

It also includes performances of 3 exclusive songs not included on any of their studio albums: "Glace Bay Blues," "Runnin' Back to Saskatoon," and "Truckin' Off Across the Sky."
